Укроп не заменить луком. У укропа другое действие на кишечник. Он успокаивает, снимает спазм и газы. А лук наоборот раздражает, вызывает вздутие, газы. У тех кто имеет проблемы с кишечником.

If you grate the cucumber instead of slicing, and do white wine vinegar instead of lemon, it becomes Greek Tzatziki and you have it with pita bread and falafels. So healthy! I made it today and drank the drained cucumber juice with a shot of lemon, and half seltzer. Zipped me right up.

Cacik is more soupy and the cucumbers are sliced very small. This is more like an actual salad as it has thick yogurt (not much) and mostly only cucumbers. Cacik is often just eaten by itself too with a spoon. This is more like a classic cucumber salad as it’s usually made just like she did & with dill (like she showed). She just added some yogurt to make it creamy.

Yogurt has its origins in Türkiye, but Greek yogurt is a thick yogurt like cream cheese with the whey removed.

Reading the comments everyone is changing your recipe to the region of the world they live in. I have my own too being from New England in America; but I'm going to make it exactly like you do. I love variety and your recipe looks delicious! I subscribed and am looking forward to your channel. Thank you!
