The Leather Machine Company Cobra 26 Review - Is The Cobra 26 Worth The Cost?

Today I will review the Leather Machine Company, Cobra 26 sewing machine. I have had the sewing machine 90 days now and I figured it was a good time to let people know my thoughts.
Overall, I think it’s a well-built machine and should last you a lifetime if taken care of. If you were going to buy The Leather Machine Company, Cobra 26, I would definitely recommend purchasing the flat table accessory. This flat table accessory makes the sewing machine easier to use on smaller projects and on Leather projects with soft leather.
I find that adjusting the stitch length is easy. Changing from one thread to the next spool has a breeze so far.
The only issues that I have experienced with The Leather Machine Company Cobra 26 has been sewing chrome tan leather. While the bag overall was not overly thick leather by the time you have a couple of seems it may get that way. I have broke only one needle, and that was on some exceptionally thick chrome tan leather. The other issue is when I broke the needle. It pushed the needle assembly out timing and I had to re-time the machine. This was really not bad but took some time to figure it out. If you purchase this machine you need to be comfortable adjusting and maintaining the Cobra 26.

I have sewn two layers of 2 oz. Came out good. I think would have been better with a lighter weight thread. Will know when I get the finer thread
