You can't stop. You can be away for a few months or more but skyrim is a constant game lol. Best way to get back into it is to create and roleplay a character. I couldn't play a character more than 20 hours before i got bored and started another. I have my nord ive created a unique look, backstory and personality for....over 200 hours and still not sick of her.

In my current playthrough I saved, then killed him, and my kids got SO UPSET with me (even though I was sneaking, they knew!). I felt bad so I went back to the save out of guilt and kept him alive. I'm losing patience though. If he knocks over one more thing ...

I immediately fast travel and leave him at my house. Then I always regret it when he manages to wreck all the displays I had *ever so carefully* arranged earlier. In my current playthrough I saved, then killed him, and my kids got SO UPSET with me (even though I was sneaking, they knew!). I felt bad so I went back to the save out of guilt and kept him alive. I'm losing patience though. If he knocks over one more thing ...
