- I'm pumped to have this huge woodworking CNC in the shop and wanted to bring y'all along on getting it together! Assembling the ShopBot PRSalpha is a straight forward process and only took a few days from the time I started to being able to run the CNC and start knocking out projects.

Does "Have fun making something" also include have fun assembling something?
I have never considered getting a CNC, but the more I see what they could do to eliminate all the hand cutting and sanding of the smaller parts for projects I make, (or intend to make), the more I am convinced I want one.
Oh it totally includes assembly! Yeah it's definitely a fun tool and opens up tons of possibilities!

I've been really happy with it. Mine has a working area of 4'x8'.
@@WoodshopMike Thanks for your reply. Unfortunately i have no possibility to purchase this machine. I'm very far form USA. But I'm going to produce something like this myself. So, can you please answer two more questions? What is steel details thickness? 4mm? And what are aluminium profiles cross sizes? 160*40 and 160*80mm?

Why so much dust when cutting the MDF? Dust collection that bad?
MDF is horrible, but the DC I had setup when I filmed this was far from adequate! That's being remedied though 😀
how are liking the Shop Bot? Why did you choose this CNC over the others Like a avid ? How is their soft ware to use? Thanks
Sorry for the delay! I thought I'd replied already. I really like the ShopBot. At the time Avid didn't have an ATC. The software is easy enough to navigate after running a project or two. Happy to answer whatever questions you have!

They build out everything custom so it's not possible to give a direct link but here are the specs on mine.

Excellent... a question friends, I want to make my 78'x118'' cnc for different woods and melamine, what servo motor, spindle, bearings, couplings, inductive sensors, emergency stop and stroke limits do you advise me to use? thank you so much
