Frankly, I think that the character "The-One-Above-All" should simply just make His first appearance, wipe out (i.e. erase) everything and everyone from all existence, and then press the reset button on the OMNIVERSE itself - not the Multiverse.

Love Wanda, but isn't it WAY more likely that Kang was pruning mutants and the Richards family from the timeline until Sylvie killed him? Then all of a sudden mutants started popping up all over the place in the MCU.....

I think if we didn't have influencers putting their own thoughts and ideas into others heads it would be, too. I don't watch. influencers as much, anymore, and have completely enjoyed everything in the last few years.
I feel like they took some elements of MoM and probably moved them to Deadpool 3

My pitch has always been to make the X-men and the Fantastic Four Time displaced (Quantum Realm) . Have the X-men be pulled from the 80’s and the fantastic four be pulled from the 60’s. This can EASILY justify authentic speech patterns, clothing styles, and most importantly the original Super suits and Origin Stories.

X-Men should be pulled from the 90s
X-Men make the most sense also coming from the 60’s. They were created to be an unjustly persecuted “other” group which drew from the sorts of things happening during the civil rights era of the 60’s. You could probably set them modern day and draw parallels with rise of extreme right wing white nationalists, but setting it in the 90’s would be a fairly bad decade to have birthed the kind of civil rights struggle stories that have been a core part of marvel mutant story telling.

I had something similar except with kang. Having calculated that the mutants with them having to many abilities that could mess with his control of the timeline. He just cut them off as soon as the x gene starts to express itself. This being the reason why Deadpool and wolverine have shots involving the one place in Loki. As soon as they're timelines touched the multiverse they were wiped out. Ie. Deadpool time jumping and changing the past and days of future past
Ngl, Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.'s season 2 storyline with the Inhumans could've served as a great blueprint for mutants in the MCU if they'd be willing to go that route.

The House of M scenario may be too complex and would require a lot of films to ease the storyline to the current MCU timeline. I'd rather go with the Krakoa scenario, where mutants isolated themselves from the rest of the world, using their most powerful telepaths to wipe their existence from humankind. This scenario could also allow the inclusion of 'mutants' assisting humans during times of great distress, such as the Thanos conflict, while effectively keeping their existence a secret.

I love the theories, but this would be far too complex. If you think people complain about MCU storylines now, if Feige attempted this people would pan the film widely I think

It really wouldn't be that complicated, it's just a simple 1 minute clip in a movie with Wanda saying no more mutants.
It's not complicated for the real fans. Anyone devoted to the MCU could understand this. Maybe people just watching the X-Men movie might not get it, but with how good the rest of the movie should be, it won't matter

I only meant that explaining that mutants have NOT existed in the timeline we've been following for decades and that they are now being introduced from another universe is far smoother of an explanation than "they were all here but Wanda erased them for some reason". That idea just seems like far more mental hoops for everyone to jump through. I wasn't trying to be edgy or provocative, just an opinion, my friend.

Most people watching these movies are simpletons but I feel Marvel is going to over complicate it. The MCU started very simple and added layers. Essentially after Endgame, instead of going back to basics and building again they tried to expand and "out wow" the previous Saga and now we're where we are....sorta lost and directionless. Majors stuff didn't help either.
This is way too complicated. Kang pruning mutants and them returning via Loki would make far more sense.

Because of how powerful they could become and the treat that that power could represent eventually. Just look at Franklin Richards.
There are many options that would simply "make sense", but going for something bigger and bolder that could actually work (like this) is something the MCU could desperately use, especially considering long-term goals.
I don't think Marvel will bring the MCU's X-Men into Secret Wars, they should use Fox's until Secret Wars and then the MCU mutants (X-Men) were all killed by Kang knowing how threatening they could be, after all he also killed The Avengers from another reality

Charles Xavier could have a similar role to play. Perhaps he's been covering for ALL the mutants since the 90's? Xmen 97 will tell us more, I'm certain of it.
Or something terrible happened to them (similar to Logan) and only Xavier, Logan and maybe Magneto are alive.

side note about magneto. i think they could make a younger magneto by having him the relative of a holocaust survivor who told him all about it. then when his powers are manifesting hydra takes him along with other mutants to experiment on. this would set up a very similar path for the character. it could even reinforce the "cyclical history" part

It would be like making Captain America set in the Iraq War. Both characters core character/arcs are tied to World War 2 and the Nazi's/Holocaust so removing this from their story would actually take away what made these characters unique/special....and insult the original creators by stripping them of a very powerful message about the horrors of the Nazi regime.
@@ether4211 so do you think the holocaust is the only example of mass oppression to ever exist? do you think that with out being tied to the nazi and WW2 that magneto as a character isnt important or interesting? do you think that as magnetos character ages as time passes since the holocaust that the msging behind the character and talking about the mass atrocities are less important?
like i said there are ways to still tie it back to the holocaust and atrocities while allowing the character to advance with time rather than having it "age out of existence"

They did not use “mutant” for Kamala Khan. They said, “a mutation”. Yes, they played the classic X-men theme song in the back, but marvel is very specific with their words and Symantics. Namor was (rightfully, and canonically) titled as “the first mutant” in the MCU.
Namor is a Mutant but doesn't have mutant gene or x gene.
Well it seemed like he was created by something else than an x gene for how. I think it’s just hyping up audiences to keep them in anticipation but we don’t have any mutants yet.
It honestly could work if they choose to go in this way following recent events and also it could be a nice reference to the House of M.

I've been watching this it made me think what if the secret wars movies coming out are the actual Civil War between Avengers and X men and we do like a flashback movie of some sort probably won't happen but that's the first thing I thought of

Honestly, Wanda being what creates, expands or conceals the mutant phenomenon (more specifically, the X-Gene) is quite unlikely considering the character is (currently) dead.
In fact, it’s seems more likely that the X-Men won’t be created in the Avengers Universe, what with its current deluge of characters to keep track of, and that the mutant phenomenon will only include a handful of individuals who possess some version of the X-Gene.
Instead, it’s likely the X-Men of this knew era will originate solely from another universe (either the Illuminati universe where the X-Gene and Inhuman gene are more prevalent).
That would actually explain how stark made that suit…..IN A CAVE…..WITH SCRAPS!!
Elizabeth Olsen did reference the No More Mutants story while promoting WandaVision, so this could be part of Kevin Feige's plan...

Or, remember Onslaught? And Heroes Reborn? Maybe that happened "offscreen" after Days of Future Past and that's what split the Fox X-Men timeline from the MCU ("Heroes Reborn" timeline), and the Fox X-Men timeline has just continued to exist. That would make the 'convergence' event that's coming more believable. Either way, having all of them together (X-Men and Avengers) and then splitting and having no memories of each other is a cool concept.
I just realized all the phase 1 movies stand out because they were made with paramount pictures

Actually, on your belief of mutants possibly living longer - it was revealed in a couple comics that Magneto has a special connection to the Earth because of its geomagntic field which allows him to age slower and live longer. His daughter, Polaris/Lorna Dana, has the same ability. It would be a good idea to adapt this part of his powers to explain his long life, connect him to his comic book past without erasing it completely, and possibly his relationship to Wanda and Pietro. Like his wife could have found this out and left him. Maybe the death of Anya and his reaction to it? I don't know. I just really like the idea of Wanda and Pietro being Magneto's children. (Also, why did Marvel make them sign up for their experimentation with Hyrda. I hope it is revealed it is a lie and they were kidnapped or tricked because it does not seem right.)
I feel like since we have Loki from the past as the “Cosmic Tree” he may have knowledge of mutants being pre Avengers 2 Loki, and with replacing the loom he brought mutants back not knowing that they even where gone……and bring them bacc……Loki has always been the key to mutants

Okay so if Wanda is now gone, and mutants will come back, where do the mutants from Agents of Shield fit? Like that place where kid mutants were kept to grow & activate their mutant gene ?
In my head cannon, the Fox movies can exist with the MCU. The events of First Class, X1 and X3, which would have made world-wide news (not so much for the events of X2, 2009 Wolverine and 2013 Wolverine), could have been erased from the minds of humanity by Professor X using Cerebro as a way to protect mutants from humanity. As he said in X1: "Anonymity is a mutant's first chance against the world's hostilities" and he is not above erasing minds as he did with Moira in First Class to protect their anonymity.

Magneto was once reverted to the age of a baby by one of his own proto-mutants by the name of Alpha. I believe this was late 70s/early 80s. he was aged up at some point that I can't recall, with but not back to his original age. So his body is about 20 years younger than what it should be; perhaps, more.
MCU uses Occam’s Razor for everything, the easiest explanation is He who remains being gone.

What if... when Cap went back to his time after end game, he lead a team to help save kids from the camps in the 40s and somehow the x gene was reactivated starting with Magneto causing a chain reaction of the x gene slowly emerging over time, and as more mutants emerged, they stayed in hiding and have an underground society. They've decided not to get involved with humanity because it was so decisive. Now 80 years later, with supers every where they've decided to try integrating into human world.
