@@Murcielag0scuro these kinds of comments are usually written by beginners who play fur Elise or something, and comment about how much virtuosity the much harder pieces require and how many more years they will have to work to get there. This and the fourth one, are two nice etudes that have been ruined by people calling them "impossible at tempo"
Just to let everyone know, roikelli just made the Etudes much faster for literally no reason. The correct tempo of the 4th etude is 60 BPM. Besides, even at roikelli's tempo it's not impossible to play. Please leave the poor etudes alone.
If you really want to see an impossible to play piece, check out Amedee Mereaux's op 63 no 45 etude. It has never been played at the composer's tempo.

Don't make it sound too noble it have to be stronger and sometimes speeder. That piece is like poor flex that Liszt did to impress his audiciense.

Not suited for her. Liszt to too far fetched for her. She doesn't get the fire of Liszt.

@Theo BOU EID Your remark is a bit uncanny. It has nothing to do with trying. If it is too far fetched for you, you shouldn't do it. Some pianists are good at Beethoven and others at Liszt or Rachmaninov. I am a concertpianist and predominantly play Liszt since I specialized myself in Liszt. At the same time there are pianists who are better then I am like Valentina LIsitsa or Sokolov. I do not play Mozart since I do not understand his music. I can play the notes but it doesn't mean anything. I like jazzmusic but I can't play it because I do not understand how to play it. Of course sometimes I try to play music out of my league but in my studio and only for my ears. In my opinion my performance on that kind of music is not good enough so I won't bother people with it. I can play this piece of Liszt since I focused on it for about 3 to 4 years to understand and I know a lot about Listz's personal live by reading his correspondence and diary. I think Mrs. Tomellini shouldn't play Liszt because the mechanical tecniques still take too much effort from her prior to create music.

elisa tomellini do you think it’s possible to get to that level when you start learning over the age of 17?
I know this is the earliest I will be able to seriously start learning piano and I want to know if I would ever be able to reach that level

I started learning at 15 and I am wrapping up Hungarian Rhapsody No. 2 now at age 17, so it's doable. This is my next piece. I should have an easier time than Elisa learning it because I can reach a 12th, so wish me luck. This is extremely difficult.

NOTE: A YEAR if my learning was technique for Hungarian Rhapsody.
I have Asperger's, so it depends on what mood I'm in (I'm musically gifted as a result). I usually go for 2 hours 5 days a week and 1 hour on Sundays. I practice on a Baldwin 9 foot concert grand piano, and own an 1883 Mason and Hamlin upright, one of the very first ones ever made (85 key, serial #323). Also grew up in a musical family and have perfect pitch.
