Just spent 150 minutes playing through your Acoustics and other playthroughs with my 2 and a half year old girl. She locked eyes with the screen, let her head move to the rhythm and was fingering imaginary strings in the air. Despite her tummy ache, you were still able to bring her to a place of beauty tonight. Thank you for the unrivaled inspiration. ❤
hi yvette! i just wanted to let you know that listening to your music so heavily has inspired me to buy a guitar. it'll arrive next week. I'm so hyped to learn! hope i can be as talented as you in the future < 3 thanks for all you do!
Woaw i am so happy! You are in for a ride finally? All the best, enjoy and love the process. Your life will be nothing but full of learning experiences from here on..
This was the song that got me through the toughest moments of the lockdown. Never had a song made me feel a sense of optimism. We sure as hell need some light now.
this song and tuning just exudes peace. The trills on the violin add some much depth and a second voice that feels a little more ernest than the constants in the guitar. so good! thank you for sharing this acoustic version!
The music is great, yet where is the song? I was waiting for her to sing right until the end. She's got the voice, sure. No lyrics, here, unfortunately.
This is my favourite song it’s helped me through the darkest moments in my life. There’s just something so enchanting about this song which makes it so enthralling to me as well as an inspiration for hope. Whenever I have a shitty day I remember this song and it always lifts me up and small smiles plays on my face. Thank you for creating a soothing space for me Yvette with the hope and beauty in your songs .
🇺🇦❤️ Thank you for your beautiful music - it helps me as a Ukrainian coping with war, bringing some calm amidst the chaos. Hope you can come with a concert to Ukraine during peaceful times, hopefully soon.
I followed a link here and started weeping. Weeping out of joy for the beauty of the music, out of sorrow for the war in Ukraine and for the way you inspire people. You are truly one of a kind! Thank you for being who you are and sharing a little bit of that with us.
Omg my most favorite from the technicolor album! It's such an absolute beautiful masterpiece! Especially this part 3:18, it's so emotional! Thank you for uploading an acoustic version!
What a beautiful piece of music, Yvette! Amazing and emotional melody. Thank you. Art is also a way to bring same peace to the world, to everyone lives everywhere.
This is absolutely my favorite song in the album. This got me through so much in the past months. Thank you, Yvette! I'll be here continuing listening to your music.
I've been playing this video on loop for the past few days as I've been isolating with COVID, and it's brought me a lot of joy, a lot of bittersweet feelings, a lot of beauty in a time when I personally needed it a lot. Thank you for this gift, yvette. It means so much.
Some of the guitar tone and the arrangement kinda reminds me of William Ackerman. The guitar reminds me of his album Imaginary Roads and the violin reminds me of the opening piece from Passage, Remedios. there's also a piece with a viola solo over guitar on that album, which I love because I always think viola is an underused soloing instrument.
Hey Yvette, you’ve been a huge Inspo to me, the whole reason I started playing guitar basically. Watching your videos from 8-10 years ago until now, such an inspiration seeing how far you’ve come. I wish to be as great as you one day, as you’re an inspiration to thousands around the world! Much love 💕
Yvette's music takes a power washer to our soul. It allows us to reconnect to our private, gentle and vulnerable emotions that we keep tucked away for fear of damage.
So I've been doing physiotherapy to strengthen my muscles in the hands and the wrists and I might get good without surgery and be back to playing without pain again, thank you for always being an inspiration for me! Cheers from Brazil, obrigado demais!
thank you yvette. been waiting for a full acoustic version of this. won't forget the first time i experienced this song, it opened a different world and never knew that music had the power to do that. i love you!
daym str8 killing it as always. yvette one time i was at a house show and i heard you showed up but i was so drunk in the backyard that i missed my opportunity to tell you in person that i greatly enjoy your music lmaooo. good times ahahaaa. inland empire circa 2016 ish p sure
Yeeeeeeeees!!!!!! I remember first hearing this and absolutely falling in love 💜 it is a very beautiful song. Also ahwww your flowers in the back are real cute 🥰
Thank you Yvette for this beautiful piece! I'm not really one to comment on anything (RUclips or Facebook), needless to say this is the first time. This song has calmed my soul specially in such a time like this. Just wanted to show my appreciation. God bless you more!
I really like the touch applied to the playing. It really makes the music come alive. Very responsive and expressive. Doesn't feel at all like some kind of humdrum boring scale run. It builds and has movements that really flow. Yeesh.. I'm such a fanboy.
A beautiful piece for a beautiful city.
Thank you from all your Ukrainian subscribers.
We're still here.
Russian people walk with you too
We’re all here with you

Congrats! What kind did you get: acoustic, classical, or electric?
thanks! I’m going with acoustic for right now because I’m truly a beginner, haha. don’t think I’ll get anywhere near yvette’s mastery soon.

@@caroxoxo It takes a lot of time and effort so good luck. Remember that practice does not make perfect, perfect practice makes perfect.
@@caroxoxo She's a singular talent, for sure! Her right hand "plucking" is "non-traditional," not that it matters anymore.
The first girl I loved was named Odessa... Very beautiful song. I love all your music but these acoustic renditions just hit different.
Such a beautiful name, it's cute how you still have her in your mind.
I wouldn't be surprised if the next girl you're dating have names like Athena, or some goddess name
Next girl gon be named Parachute
i have bad news for you.. Odessa is a city in Ukraine
Have you ever fallen in love with a guy named Mariupol? Because why not?
That was incredible. I feel 100 pounds lighter and 5 years younger just listening to it.

@@notilter419 the instrumental music is very beautiful, it doesn't need a lyrics to be precious and a lot of classic music artists prove it

I discovered you about an hour ago and can't stop watching/listening to you play. Your vibe is on a level of its own.
so wonderful... my small small heart....
Good to hear some peace and beauty. Love the inclusion of the violin, and it’s additional dimension of soul.
been a long time since an arrangement made me cry. well done.
She has fully emerged herself into playing music and that’s amazing. Beautiful sounds.
this gave me the cry i needed. utterly beautiful~ I was inspired to write poetry from this.
What can I say but WOW! That was one of the most beautiful playing I’ve seen. Consider this old rocker guy a fan for sure!
