The hiatus has ended. We're still alive! I have a lot of videos to work on so keep an eye out in the coming weeks. Thanks for watching!
Bros. Where u guys been man??? Everybody making videos but you man. Good to see you back🤙
We're still alive! We have been fishing, just haven't had the time to go through all the footage and work on the videos. I probably have 10 videos from this Summer that I need to sit down, go through all the footage, label everything and then work on them. I do apologize for the hiatus.
The boys are back!!
Thanks, Eric! We gotta lot of editing to do now! 😂
Great to see and talk with ya’ll last week at Packery, love the content as always and tight lines from Canada!
It was really nice to meet you out there and speak with you. It's crazy meeting someone that lives in Canada that watches our videos in Corpus. Lol now I just gotta work on all the other videos now. Thanks for giving me the encouragement to get back to the grind!
Hell yeah! Glad to see y’all back! Awesome video as always! Keep ‘em coming y’all! Looking forward for those videos! Jack em Up!
Thank you we appreciate it and sorry about the wait! Jack 'em up! We got some 🔥 jetty videos to come.
Great video on the nite flounder gig , glad to see yall back 👍
Thank you, Miguel! Thanks for staying subscribed, and sorry for the wait!
Awesome. Get um while you can
Thank you! Exactly, November is fastly approaching.
Sheeeeeshhh🔥🔥🔥
Thanks, Ray!
How do you forget the stringer bro😅.. the flounder anticipation is real!!
Lol when I was watching the video that's what I was thinking! Lol he was moving around a lot of spots, so I guess like you said, he got too far ahead of himself Lol. He usually puts the whole stringer in the ice chest so that's probably what happened after the 1st Flounder.
Awesome video!
Thank you!
Killer drop, great to see you back brotha, see you soon! 🙌🏼
Thank you! Felt great to finally sit down, and edit a video. We have a ton of videos to put out, just need to buckle down and get it done.
@@MattsSaltwaterFishing awesome can’t wait, and thank you!
🎣
@@MattsSaltwaterFishing we’ve been on some giants lately, it’s been a wild month so far! 🎣
🙏🏼
@@Angler13Fishing thank you! Y'all have been on some giants? DM me coordinates. 😂😂😂
Very nice delicious looking flounders... we went pompano fishing on Saturday and caught only one pompano. Hope to see your pompano video soon.
As soon as I saw your name I thought about Pompano. 😂 I was just going to say that we hope to do some Pompano fishing next month. Good luck on your next Pompano trip!
😃 I think we could have caught more if we stick around long enough or switch spot. Our kid got sick therefore we had to leave early.
@darlenechung8664 sorry to hear about your child getting sick. Hopefully they are feeling better now. The word is the Pompano have been between Corpus and Port A. I am looking forward to PINS though.
Thank you...she's fine. We were at PINS. It was a bit hot high 80's and sunny therefore she was not feeling well. As soon as we got home same day Saturday she was back to normal. I then wanted to drive back on Sunday but we decided to wait after all the rain this week then will go again. I will let you know if we catch any when we go. We wanted to catch some crabs too. If you seen those crabs somewhere let us know please...thanks...We're in San Antonio. Will you go to Elina fish pass somedays soon to fish for flounder? I saw people catch many flounders there lately. I don't normally have that much luck with flounder 🤣
Nice video 👍
Thanks for watching!
Jack'em up! I heard Ruben is still salty about losing that big flounder to a bent gig, you should buy him a new gig and gig pole! 😂
I'll have to see what I can do about that. 🤔
Good to see you guys back in the water. I would love to try that what's the best time to do that?
Thank you! The best time to do it is right now! The Flounder season closes in November and doesn't start back up till December 15th.
@@MattsSaltwaterFishing Do you make your own under water light spotter or you can buy one?
@@cagonzal13 you can buy them already made. Ruben bought the light but made the PVC and did the wiring himself.
I’ve always wanted to try flounder Giging
It's definitely fun and a different way to target these tasty fish. The start up cost to target them isn't that expensive either. I've seen some inexpensive gigs like the ones we've used on sale at a local tackle shop for like $5 or you can get a fancy 6' aluminum handle for $40 and spend another $40 for the gig from Eastern Metal Works and then the lights can be anywhere from $30-$150 depending on which one you go with.
Awesome thanks for the info
@@XanderHallsOutdoors you're welcome, best of luck!
Hi Matt! Where you gigging flounder MATT ? Can you give me the address please
I'll have to ask Ruben but he was telling me he did a lot of moving around on this trip. Good to see you, Than!
Any luck? No 😂
🤘🤘🤘
😂
@MattsSaltwaterFishing I was like, wait a min red suv two guys with a light
Ohhhhh sheeeeeeee I know that wrist watch 😆😆😆😆🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘
@christophervela5447 that was you?! To be fair we didn't get anything that morning. This was from a week before that. I think I'm bad luck. Did y'all have any luck fishing?
@MattsSaltwaterFishing that's cool man
Actually gf caught a 17½inch flounder there.
It was nice to see yall putting in so much work man . Yall were hitting it getting those steps in 😁😁😁
It was really nice taking time to see how much aquatic life we have when the tide pools are actually clear 😅😅😅 I saw stone crabs..sea urchins & a bunch of tiny different species fish.
Anyways man yall keep up the good work 👏
Always happy to see content from yall
@christophervela5447 that's an awesome catch! Yeah, we were literally seeing everything, but keeper sized Flounder that morning. Lol gotta go a couple of more times before the season closes. I have a lot of other videos to put out so I need to buckle down there.
What kind of battery do you us
Just a 12v deer feeder battery.
