    That brings back memories me and my dad used to go flounder gigging in Jacksonville North Carolina on the Bass. I was just about her age.

    Are the thing shooting along around your Lights Shrimp??? I use to night Trawl using a Rig Net -- and many Shrimp would be on top the water because of the Light of the Moon... PS - I like you Search Lights -- do you have a video on how you built them if you did and where you got the Parts???

      They were baby ghost minnows. My friends from Galveston Tx built these lights and they had a flounder light business but they made so much money in 3months they retired and quit making them🤦‍♂️. They said it was too tiring to make them. Pretty sad because i woulda kept making these lights. They worked better than Jerry LED's and other lights out there. Iv tried all the flounder lights in the market and this one is lightest, most efficient , and bright

      @@kchedville anywhere on the beach will have flounders. Look for sand bars and baby minnows. No bait = no flounders

    Do you find the best time to go is a falling tide?

    • @vinhttrinh
      @vinhttrinh  6 месяцев назад +1

      Yes i always do better couple hours before peak lowtide. Example: lowtide at 3am, i would go at 1am depending how low it gets. If its a negative lowtide i would go 4hrs ahead

      @@vinhttrinh thanks so much for the info! Ive been 4 times and only seen one small one! Probably time i check the tides haha

      @@getthenet1015 well location makes a difference also. Find places with sand bars. When tide changes, the flounders like to burry themself along sand bars so they can ambush bait fish as they cross over the sandbars during tide changes. Tip: look for bait fish like baby mullets or ghost minnows. No bait = no fish
