It felt great to be back down the Padre Island National Seashore and run in to some Pompano. How has Pompano fishing been for you this season? Thanks for watching!
@ChrisFish22718 heck yeah, good to hear y'all have been tearing them up! 💪 We missed some good days for Pompano but we were happy to get on some this day. We need to have another 30+ day.
Thanks, it felt great to be back down the beach again chasing them down. We're still looking for them 20 / 30 Pompano days we had in previous years. Just gotta keep going when the windows open up.
Thanks, Carlos! Yeah I'd have to check through the Pompano videos to find which one it was, I know we've fried it up and also baked it in the oven whole on one of the videos.
Thanks, Miguel! The cooler is actually pretty big. We were thinking of getting one earlier this year for fishing the Port Aransas Jetties, but they had just had a recall and we couldn't find them anywhere online. Yeti just released them again in October so we picked one up. Looking forward to having cold water all day and nice and coold food/snacks.
Good day fellas Id like for you guys to please post type of bate used and the date you were out fishing 👍🙌 i view videos with where and when, and bait used Good luck thx for sharing
We usually use size 2/0 and 3/0 circle hooks. For smaller Pompano the 3/0 can be a little too big, but we rather not mess with the smaller ones anyways. The downside to the 2/0 hooks is that you can get them bent out easily if you hook into over slot Red / Bull Red / stingray.
Daiwa Coastal SP Surf. A decent rod for the money. There is a story behind that rod lol... when I eventually crank out the jetty videos from earlier in the year you will know. 😂

My favorite fish to eat is Pompano. If you haven't eaten some. Try it, you won't be disappointed. This was a great video.❤
Thanks for watching! Yes, Pompano is absolutely delicious!
Jack'em up. I'm waiting for the updated video for capacity. I need a cooler that will fit 20 Pompano minimum.
I'm working on it.
