I really enjoy your videos! I’m planning to do something like this, maybe I’ll made a bushplane from scratch too! Hugs from Chile and good luck with the project 🇨🇱🙌🏽
I was so stoked with your build I was on the live broadcast but comments were disabled and then it crashed. A for attempting to stream that live though. So I did a quick search to see if I could find the Steve Henry wing mod kit you're building but am reluctant to post any URL's as it could be the wring mod kit. I am particularly interested in the wing tips you're adding. I am planning on a PA-18/PA-20 project wing mod and will be adding PSTOL dual or even quad slotted flaps to bring the stall speed down to
The wing cord will stay the same. 18 inches of wing span are added onto the end of each wing. I will be making my own aluminum wing tip fence. 18 inches will also be added onto the flaps. Steve Henry is the one one I know of that has this kit. You would have to contact Wild West Aircraft to find out more. I am going to try and get internet service out to the hangar. I would like to do a live video every so often so people can ask questions and I can awnser them live while showing the airplane progress.
Is it too late to send it back to the factory for powder coating? $1500 is a bargine compared to the hours and costs of painting; much less the trouble of rust and touch-up paint.
I just got my highlander yesterday but I have to install the wind extension. I have the kit but it doesnt recommend a glue. Can you tell me what you have?
The string is just something to check that I am somewhat close to the washout on the wing trailing edge. I think a string is better anyway, you want to see it and have it just touch each of the ribs to follow the trailing edge.
Keep up the good work. My kit is on order and I’m learning vicariously through you
Thankyou for showing us the build great job.

With a turbo that thing will definitely be a Cub killer. Look out Trent Palmer!
300hp vs 180. There is no comparison. It's a drako killer.😂

why would someone put wood on a wing??? is there an option for metal wing on the highlander?
This is how the majority of kit planes are built. Even certified planes have wood ribs

Where did you get the wing extension kit from? I used the structural epoxy that came from the factory for gluing the many other airplane parts.
Hi where did you buy the Steve Henry extension Kit, at Just aircraft too? or you add to your initial order?
From Wild West Aircraft (Steve Henry).
@@kevincamp189 oh ok thank you for tje info many blessings
how about a cheap lazer instead of the string?
