- My grandfather left this older Kubota 7100D in a barn for at least a decade . He has since pasted and my grandmother said I can have it. Can I get it to work and use it on my homestead in maine ? Come and enjoy the adventure with me .

I have a nice example of one of these 7100D's. They all start that way. Even if you run them everyday. It takes a few revolutions to start them. Yours sounds exactly like they all do. They are called, "Little Monsters." Excellent job!
so many people dont give a fook about anything their grandparents save. good on you for going after it. he saved it for a reason. the 7100 kubotas are top tier small tractors of that age. even better than yanmars from the same time period.
Good job getting the ol girl going. I've got a b7100 hst. Went through just about the same process. But she's going great now.
Great job getting that thing running. It’s very cool. I need a backhoe. Barn find haha
Yes I'd be very happy to see ut plow snow here maine gets a lit of it in winter . Pull up stumps with it . We will see happy to have it
Well done. those little Kubota's just run, and run, and run, and run...
Congratulations on your persistence and ingenuity. You've proven that you CAN raise the dead!!!!!
I owned one for like a year and a half I only had to fill the gas tank one time and it lasted until I sold it lol, just got another one last week had to take the whole engine apart it had terrible rust in cylinder 1, but I cleaned it up put back together and it runs
Hope you gave the lovely little MG a good home
He put it thru hell, but those are tough lil S.O.B.'s. Its over 40 yrs old!! Fine choice sir!!
They good tractor I got one myself to
CONGRATS! I was rooting for you every second. Great vid, great job!
Hello, can you post a link for that Kubota forum? I have somme issues with my Kubota b 7000.
I have a b7001 i bought 20 years ago. Used it last 2 days to cut grass prior to coming fire season. Main thing is to keep it in the barn when not in use.
Agree completely keep it in the barn when not using condensation gets into places like steering box gear box etc. I have a b7001 I bought ex Japan 20 years ago. It had original paint and had always been sheered which I continue to do. When I get it it it was hard to start and ran rough. A few years ago I used added outboard 2 stroke to the fuel at 200:1 and has cleaned the injectors and it now starts first go.
Love the Kubota but how could you not want the MG. Classic roadster
Great job brother! Love your content. Godbless.
That 'glow plug switch' wasnt actually a swtich there should be some kind of glass here
woohooooo...hehehe
i have been in your shoes bro being able to give life to my 7001 (asian version of 7100)
A little attention goes a long way
+1 for getting new glow plugs. +2 for using them correctly, unlike Mustie1 and Diesel Creek, who prefer not to use them, or work the glow plugs for ten seconds and the starter motor for 30 seconds.
I didnt see you check the oil, fuel or filter or coolant?
That jewel has seen a lotta use and abuse. They’re tough, l have one looks showroom, mines hydrostatic
