It's hard to think of a more versatile machine than a tractor with a loader and a 3pt hitch. If you're anything like me, you'll keep finding new projects and new attachments to keep the tractor working! A little advice: when you put the new tires on, put liquid ballast in the rear tires. Ballast weight is a must for small tractors for stability when you have a full bucket.

I would still recommend some liquid ballast in the tires though - that way you still have ballast weight even if you don't have the backhoe hooked up, and it helps keep the center of gravity a little bit lower too. Take it from a guy whose entire property is one big side-hill - you want all the stability in a tractor you can get!
Hi, Very nice investment. I wish you well with your purchase. I have owned B7100-D for just under 40 years now. It is a solid tractor which I added an ARPS 70 Backhoe to it within a month of purchase. The backhoe was brand new and the Kubota was 4 years old when i purchased it. The suggestion I will make is for you to replace the rear axle hubs with the newer style of hubs ASAP. My rear wheels were always loose and wobbly. I replaced my hubs with the new style hub around 1992 and have not had an issue since with loose hubs. Google new style hubs for Kubota B7100. Good luck with your new tool. I have the same Kubota I bought mine to help me clear our new house lot I have pulled out the roots from 27 trees and I have moved 23 other trees with only 1 problem when I tried to move a very big root with the bucket I broke the front differential I love my bulldog
Work horses. I have the same B7100 DT. The world is getting pretty wacky so a garden is on the agenda for 2025. I moved on 10 acres a few years ago. Half woods where the house is at and half unkept hay field that'll partly become garden area. You won't regret the B7100. It's literally an overgrown overpowered 4X4 garden tractor. 16HP diesel has lots of power but the tractors weight at a bit over 1000lbs will lose traction before it loses power. Mine has done work my 21HP garden tractor just couldn't do.
The B7100 is probably the best Kubota mini tractor that anyone can buy. Built with the same level of robustness as the larger equipment but very compact. It has less power than newer models but I've never found my tractor to be any less capable in this weight class. I do plan to retrofit power steering someday when I finally blow my manual steering gear. 😂
One the pto there should be a middle pto and rear pto the front is a hydraulic pump tied to the motor for full time hydraulics for your loader only it pumps fluid all the time when motor is running.
hello good video although I didn't see you change your bucket hydraulic fluid Minds around the 77 also no drain plug for the bucket fluid my reservoirs on the right hand side where the suction and return line are o I took off I took off my return line and one at a time work the controls as I was adding more fluid and that you can see the difference between that clear. I don't believe it was ever changed before. if you have another way to do it let me know.
Every one of these little tractors with a loader on them the grill is out of them and almost impossible to find one. I use mine for to mow my lawn 6 acers.
If the hydraulic pump is mounted on the back of the fuel pump you need to keep a check on your motor oil. If it starts rising the hyd pump is likely going bad.
From what I recall the loader Hydraulic pump is shaft driven off the front of the motor Crank Pulley. The system is completely isolated from any other Kubota systems.
That’s true, a shaft comes off the front crankshaft,& is connected by two sprockets face to face with a double chain connecting them together.Really a simple but genius way to connect them! ( Like the entire machine)!
Nice machine you got, I have B6000 with "japan spec" very deep thread tyres and I'm probably going to replace them. It's like driving on square wheels on hardpack ground... I see your new video, mean looking machine with those new tyres!
Tires are NOT cheap! I would continue to use those tires unless you travel miles down a paved road all the time. I'm sure they have tubes, and they should have tubes!! I love the rear balloon tires on the Cub cadets! IF it ain't broke, why fix it?

We’re planning on putting a backhoe on here 🤠 so that should balance it out nicely. Specifically, a Kubota B670 or B629 😁

Technically it’s supposed to use 80-90 gear oil. Somebody switched it out to hydraulic oil
