I’ve had my L2502 for 9 months and put only 43 hours on it so far. I have 5 acres partially wooded and the grapple is great for keeping the limbs and old fallen trees picked up and carried to the burn pile as well as big rocks (or small boulders) to the rock pile. It’s so much easier than cutting and loading onto a trailer by hand then throwing on the pile. Gotta love the grapple. Also mowing my place and properties for a few of the older folks near me that don’t have the help or means to keep up their property as well as they would like. The 2502 is a great tool and does everything I’ve tried so far. You did a good review on everything about it.
Good video and I just subscribed to your channel. Sawmills…I have a 2501 and my lift capacity is nowhere near 2,000. I’ve purchased an 35M Uniforest rear winch, which I use to skid logs up to the Lucas mill. I then roll 16’ logs up to 60” diameter onto the bearings and into the mill with relative ease. I also have the same log grapple you use. The winch weighs 522 lbs plus the wire rope, so it’s plenty of ballast on the rear end. 👍
I've had my L2502 for a little over 3 months now and just under 210 hours on it and love this machine so far. Cleared around 7 acres of brush and palmettos, built a dirt bike track, some projects around the house/yard and the only thing that has been a problem is a pin falling out of the brush cutter my first time using it. I added a canopy with a fan for this Florida sun/heat, some arm rests, and eventually 3rd function/Grapple. Very capable machine for it's size and would also buy the machine again.
Great review. Had mine for almost as long. Loving my L2502 and a similar set of implements on my almost 40 acres. Especially the grapple. One of my most used implements. One thing you didn't mention was the easy to remove loader and SSQA connection. Happy tractoring!
Great video. Just wanted to point out a few differences with the manual gear drive version of this exact same tractor. Pedals are just like a straight drive vehicle. Throttle far right on the right side. Breaks in the middle on the right side and clutch on the far left on the left side. Still have the idle up lever on the dash. It has so much torque that it’s not really like driving a straight drive. Haha I have the same tires and all. It’s been an absolute tank. I love it. Wish I had the grapple and fork lift attachments. Awesome set up! 👍🏼🤘🏼
Tod, excellent review and great to hear that you are happy with your Kubota L2502 tractor, it's a great machine. I noticed one thing on your L2502 that I have been wanting to install for some time onto my LX2510 and that is a shock/strut to assist opening the hood. I just need to get around to doing the installation. The hood on my tractor is very heavy and a bit awkward to open. In the video I noticed how easy it was for you to lift the hood on your tractor. Those fuel pumps work great. I Totally agree with you on the tool box and the gas tank fill location. Thanks for sharing!
I sure have been very happy with my L2501. Mine is the gear drive version with the R1 or ag style tires. It is a delight to drive and has filled many purposes on my farm very well. I got it primarily to mow my -00 acres of pasture and to drag up tree tops for firewood. It has to get in and out of really tight places and does it well. I just finished mowing my pasture and decided against taking any video of that. I have some really steep and off camber places to get in and out of in mowing. I thought about showing what the tractor is capable of and decided that was not a good idea. Someone one may try it on their own and end up getting killed. So we just decided to forego the videoing of any of that.
I think you are stating the lift capacity of the three point hitch @`2000#. The front end loaders lift capacity is ~1100#. I have had my L2502 for 4 months now, and really like it so far.

How much price of kubotaL2502 ?
I love my L2502 HST. I've only had it a few weeks, but I've done so much. We have 6 1945-55 tractors, but they have lots of limitations.
