Have a question about the Stay Afield System (SAS), how much would it be for an extra set of cables or string ? If you have to press your bow in the field then you would have to have the replacements with you!

Can you still mount a "traditional" bolt on sight? I've got a Tommy Hogg and not quite ready to drop the coin for a Fast Eddie or Hogg Father just to use a Mathews.

It’s sad tho you pay $1100 for a bow and you have to adjust the cams 99% of the time. Why can’t they just find what shims work to shoot bullet holes and do that on every single bow? Very few bow shops even get your bow tuned correctly. And not everyone has a bow press
But how can I buy one.. dealer says they won't have them until MARCH. How can you release something and not get it into peoples hands until 4 months from now.
The 29 I got has some vibration, more than my VXR and V3. Wished I could figure out what it is because I'm pretty disappointed right now. Any help would be appreciated. I've made sure the bow is in time. I've checked every bolt and screw on the bow, I've removed stabs, sight and everything else I can remove and it still has the vibration.
I shot 2 different ones at pro shop and absolutely terrible vibration. I couldn't stand it worse bow I've shot in a while.

Derek...I'd start out with a index release...something that's very adjustable. I shoot the Carter RX1. There's others, obviously. Learn proper form and execution with whatever release you choose. I also shoot a STAN Perfex thumb activated release. Much more "custom" and VERY accurate when proper form/execution is applied. Welcome to the club. Cheers

So what is one nuance with the bow? Area that you would want to see improved? All these videos of this is great that’s great which is great. But if there is nothing that needs improvement then why buy a new model.

I was watching the video you did where you turned up one of your V3to 97 lbs You commented on how you where blowing up nocks ! I have a V 3 27 at 25 /12" draw and 78.7 lbs I shoot Gold Tip Hunter Pro's with nock bushings I got a dozen of "fire orange" nocks and have had 4 blow up Let every one know that if they EVEN THINK the nock is damaged change it out The nock bushing saved my arrows (the one's I found) as they broke right down the saddle of the nock into the bushing So any one reading this shooting a V 3 , V 3 X or even a TRX with high lbs WATCH YOUR NOCKS
All it needs now is a limb driven rest that fits like the cable activated rest does

The thing is...if you were blindfolded and someone hands you a V3X 29 or a VXR 28, Would you notice the difference? Same with a Traverse and a V3x 33. Sight, quiver, etc. is good but improved shooting sensations is what most people looks for in new releases. I think Mathews should ask themselves that (Even though the fanboys will buy all the bows Mathews is able to produce year after year).
