15:42 the only tutorial I have found that explains that you need wings for the airships. Best tutorial on youtube currently, just way too long for the information you give us so I had to skip some parts that I already knew.

the new version has no balloons. how do i make an airship then?

SOL: use eureka ships and use those balloons.
for up and down, use secret vertical propeller.
you will also have to place a eureka ship helm for the balloons to work.

I have Valkyrien Skies, Create, Valkyrien Skies: Clockwork, and Eureka in 1.19.2 and there is no Ballooner block.

It's removed, tho if you want to make a similar thing you can build a helicopter, they are similar in function to an airship (float and move with your buttons)
I may post a tutorial at some poin.

just, remove the balloon
you still need 2 propellers in the back to have it actually functional

propellers on a ship arent very accurate use eurekal ships for valkyrien skies it gives u a ship helm which u could use to assemble physics objects without glue and it lets u move with wasd

At the moment the mod is not survival friendly, as most of the items don't have a crafting recipe
