- My 05 power wagon with stock suspension on 315/70R17 BFG A/T's. I also removed the factory badging and purchased new chrome badges and painted them black before reapplying.
I did a 2 inch leveling kit in front and a 1 inch block in the rear on my 2005. I’ve had it since new as well. I’m just turning 70,000 on it.
I had 35’s on it for years, but they rubbed regardless of what I did above.
. With that, I went 1 size up from stock to 305x70x17’s on my next set and it looks great. It drives same as stock and I didn’t lose any power.
It’s worth a look if you get tired of the 35’s.
Im currently running 20x14 wheels with 35s on my 09. Talk about an aggressive looking truck. I get compliments everywhere I go. Before the 20x14s i had 35s on the stock pw megs with 2in spacers. I really liked that look as well. I also have an old school 3in dual roll bars in bed with offroad lights. The roll bar and 14in wide wheels change the look of the 3rd gen drastically... Next is hopefully a supercharger or cam.
35x12.5 on my 20s is going to look great. Thanks for the video
Good video👍🏻👍🏻👊🏻I’m thinking of going to 35’s also.
Great video nice looking truck
Really nice truck, I’ve been wondering if I could run 35s on my PW with out a lift.
Ya with no problems
Im trying to see if the nitto 37x11.5 will fit on mine... 35s even look small on these trucks
That rubbing will cause you major issues down the road, I reccomend some sacrificial surface covering on the control arms so you dont eat away and weaken the metal.
samus989 rubber won't eat away metal
ok .315 70 17 is a 34 not a 35 inch tire.look it up.
Actually Einstein, you should follow your own advice. But incase you're not smart enough, I'll post the facts for you.
LT315/70R17 = 34.4" overall diameter
35x12.50R17 = 34.5" overall diameter
I'd say that's pretty much the same tire.
@@Wes_Barton Thx for the response sweetie but i rest my case.315 is a 34.4, 35 is 34.76 depending on mfg.Iroks are the only true 35 and boggers run 35.6.
@Lee Vahal it’s not that deep my guy
What brand is that tool box? It looks awesome
Weather Guard. MODEL 127-5-02 SADDLE BOX, ALUMINUM www.weatherguard.com/products/truck-tool-boxes-equipment/boxes/SaddleBox/127-5-02
Is this stock height or you added a lift?
All stock
You think you could get 37s on there
I wouldn't try it without a lift. The clearance may be there as it sits but probably not when the suspension travels.
@@Wes_Barton ya for sure but im not doing any rock crawling with the truck so gonna put the nitto 37x11.5 on her will let you lnow how it fits/ looks
where did you purchase the new badges
I’m pretty sure I ordered them on eBay from a Mopar dealership. I couldn’t find the email confirmation from my purchase, but a quick Google search for [power wagon emblem] gives you quite a few choices.
love the black badges, my engine blew, thinking of putting myp pumped 24v Cummins in mine with the 6 spd. I like the 05 better then my sons 2017..
