Oops! Sprayed the brickwork there. Just got one of these for the father-in-law. I have an airless myself. Good idea to keep rinsing the nozzle as you go. I drop mine in a bucket of water while I’m changing panels.
Many thanks. Just sprayed a 100 foot long 3 bar ranch style fence this afternoon in about 2 hours. Used to take all day with a brush and it was very, very tiring. One tip. I started off with Fence Life + I have had about 2 years. Bad mistake. It has obviously gone off and jammed the sprayer after about 2 minutes. Cleaned the machine, new paint from Screwfix and the rest was easy. I used an old large tv cardboard box behind each fence section to catch overspray. Two sheds next on Saturday.
Good practical video! Just got one of these and intend using it with Ducksback but was unsure of the dilution. I’ll try 10% water as you did as it seems fine. Thanks for the useful advice 👍
Just looking to buy this sprayer but with the size of my garden it will be much more cost effective for me to buy the normal ducks back paint and dilute it. Did it still have a good finish that way and have the same protection once dry? Just wasnt sure if watering it down ruined its protective properties
The aim is to protect the entire fence panel... Not just the bits that face your garden lol! You must be a barrel of laughs to have as a neighbour... Jheeez! 😂
@@Ray-gz5whI’m looking to treat the fence panels next Spring that were put in by my neighbour last year the consideration is will they agree to the same colour? These things sometimes are not straightforward. 🤔
Yes this is how the unit functions The variable in spray paint being distributed is within the paint holder depending on how much you pull the trigger The airflow remains on and constant
Kind of insufficient masking off there in your spraying area, you did hit the side of your house there a fair bit! Spraying is definitely the way to go, get a nice even surface and it's vastly faster.
You went back to b&Q for more fence paint and said It's a little bit more expensive this sprayable paint but you don't have to water it down. I'd rather save money and add water and stir it lol. Sorry for picking up on yr mistake . Good tool.

Great information very helpful 👍
Was the sprayable version better? And how many litres did your whole garden take?

This was so helpful. Thank you. New Sub!
Al that masking on the wall and I still got it all over it lol good rev
Can you show us how easy it was to clean your brickwork? 😢
I take it this is NOT waterproof fence paint ? as Ducksback also has a wax based paint that doesn’t dilute with water.
With his neighbour in mind how considerate to spray BOTH sides of the panels thus doubling time & cost.
Yes I get on with my neighbours so don't mind doing it plus it protects the fence more spraying both sides

You got the paint all over your brick wall :O
Luckily it comes off easy with the pressure washer, now stones flags that takes a little more effort!
@@pyracantha6028 ok good. Looking at doing my fence this weekend. Thanks for the vid!
Hi, does your unit blow just air out of the nozzle until you pull the trigger? I’m just checking mine is working correctly
Any answer to this?
@@JordanRichardson16 yes it’s normal
@@darktherapy thanks for responding
Was wondering the same, is it normal for the unit to blow air constantly?
Yes this is how the unit functions
The variable in spray paint being distributed is within the paint holder depending on how much you pull the trigger
The airflow remains on and constant
Hi, can we use this sprayer to paint walls and ceilings please? Thank you
Yeah he managed to paint his brickwork wall at the same time. You can see that in the video👍
will i need to dilute my ronseal fence paint to put in my wagner THANK YOU
If it's not made for a sprayer, most probably, I think i used a funnel to work out how much water to add to get the right consistency
Can you use it in doors
Good luck 👍
Like work 👍
Alot of overspray on your brick wall there mate..
The missus won’t be happy cleaning it in the sink 😢 lol
lol you was right
