She had the voice of an angel, now she sings with them.
This woman was a real gem. May our Father God bless her forever!
Such a beautiful voice. I'm glad I'm a Christian and can get the fullest enjoyment from Judith's singing here.
Whoa... be careful... your views may upset certain minorities..... Who have more rights than you in your Christian world.
She could sing the phone book and make it sound awesome.
Bob & Elina Dunn Amen amazing!!!
And the bible
I was just going to write the same. What a singer!
I agree about her voice, but the Lord’s Prayer is hardly on the same level as the phone book.
Utterly beautiful. God Bless xx
Our Father! Judith Durham!
Tears to my eyes indeed. I still remember the first time I heard her sing that in 1968. Her voice is so pure but has something beyond purity. There is something inside her that come out when she sings.
Spiritual power. She proves that this actually exists.
Totally agree.
Cannot help into tears when I hear this song by a beautiful voice. She will be forever remembered. RIP, dear lady. ❤
Beautifully sung Judith. May your soul rest in peace in God's eternal kingdom.
Thank you Yahweh - for giving believers- and those unfortunate souls in unbelief, these snippets of worship from folks filled with Holy Spirit.
What a beautiful sincere voice - glorifying our Savior and God.
Selah.
Angels are singing with Judith today rip
R.I.P. Judith Durham 1943-2022 Thank You For The Gift Of Your Voice And Music 💙💙
Prayer is sufficient. Two pray together, guarantees He, He is there. But to sing to Him pleases Him most. Thank you, Seekers.
Note that this was part of a movie shot to praise the seekers, and Judith saved time to praise the Lord. This tells a lot about her character, her personal values.
How Judith graces the lords prayer! A masterpiece
Praise the Lord forever!!!! All glory praise power and honour belong to Him who loved us so much, that He sent His only Son to die brutally on the cross, to pay for our wrongdoings. By believing in His Son Jesus Christ, we are promised everlasting life. New testament, book of John, chapter 3, verse 16. Please believe before it is too late, for He longs to have a relationship with all His sons and daughters throughout the world.......Amen 💞💞 Judith sings this so beautifully, what a pure voice!!
❤
An amazing woman, with beautiful voice and personality. Through all the years I have watched her I have never seen her perform dressed like a tart, unlike so many wannabes of today. Pure talent!!
Beautyfull all Christians should listern too this 😢❤
Her renditions of gospels, hymns and anything about religious themes are simply sublime. Even the pictures of her surrounded by the three Seekers boys have a religious appeal. They are so handsome and Judith so beautiful. Their pictures are like their singing in the sense they raise the spirits and minds. The four together give the impression of angels sent to earth for a cause.
Amen, well said and it's Thy prayer, let's say Amen John 15:7
YES. ✨🕊✨
Yes indeed , the greatest Australian female singer of all time. Still no word on when her state funeral is, or have I missed something.
I pray the Lord’s Prayer almost daily and sometimes in my head, I sing it along with Judith.
Off to Mass this afternoon, I will carry Judith’s rendition with me at the appropriate point in the service.
@@michaelhayden725 May I become like you'll. So obedient. I missed mass last Sunday because I was tired from a party
I think God must have said, my child in you I am well pleased. I didn’t know Judith but from everything I’ve read she truly was a blessing to everyone she was around. She loved God and He loved her. I believe with all my heart she is in that Promised Land. Thank you Judith for sharing your gift with us. Thank you Lord for sharing your daughter with us. 🦋🦋🦋
❤
I believe she gave her life to Him and He continued to bless her. Truly wonderful lady.
I loved her in the 60's...I still do. She gives you hope for this world. Beautiful, intelligent and spiritual...perfect.
Rest in peace Judith go and be with our Lord...... Thank you for all the wonderful music you gave us.....
Tears to my eyes . . . what an homage to the Creator!
To hear Judith sing "The Lord's Prayer" is to be transported to Heaven.
She looks like a little angel in this video. I just adore her.
A God given talent and voice gives praise to its creator. Perfection, every note from a true star.
What a heavenly voice ! No one today with a voice that can come close to this angel !
Kathleen Macellis I’m with you. Fair to say there are a lot of great singers today, but Judith is in a class all of her own.
Best voice ive ever heard, delightful
@@georgewebb6617 ; That was a joke right?
@@wrongfullyaccused7139 no it wasn't
@@georgewebb6617 ; Then, clearly, you have not heard many voices of quality. Go back about 60- 70 years ago and you will find vastly superior voices. Even today, there are voices that the pop singer cannot compare with.
Look up Kathryn Grayson, Patrice Munsel, Kitty Carlisle just to name a few. Look up Mario Lanza singing the exact same song and you will get an inkling of what a great voice truly sounds like.
Take a moment to closely listen to the works of the late Laura Branigan. Listen to the lead singer of Florence and the machine.
Go into you tube and listen carefully to Pat Benatar. Have you ever heard Lady Gaga sing the Sound of Music?
There are many dozens of voice far superior to Judith Durham. She was a very good pop singer and is worthy of the praise she has received. However, she is light years away from being the best.
Proud of you Judith, the way you held yourself in all times, at all times. God bless you. Keep australia safe
Father in Heaven, thank you for Judith, thank you for her voice! Please let her sing forever!
Think this says it all is there no end to this gorgeous woman and that Beautiful voice XX
Refreshingly simple and beautiful.
the voice of an angel........
I've loved her forever.
Judith Durham really does have the voice of heaven! There’s an operatic sound stage somewhere that’s truly missing an incredible voice like hers. Having said that , why should The Seekers’ pop folk tunes be any less worthy of a heaven sent voice like hers just because it isn’t operatic arias she’s singing. Thank you Judith.... thank you so much.
I remember an atheist writing that her voice is making him think there is a God. That would be one more reason to believe in Him and His Son the LORD Jesus Christ who gave the words to this song.
Beautiful!
Judith sang with the sweet clarity of a bell ! 👑🙏❤ Amen
Judith, we are so proud of you to grant us this performance of the Lord's Prayer.
A song best performed without sentimentality, as she does here. Lovely.
Yet a perfect performance from the most pure perfect beautiful voice I ever have heard, The beautiful Judith.
Right at this moment my heart hurts to know this exquisite voice has been silenced on Earth. She always sang like an Angel and now she is an Angel. Thank you Judith for so much joy.🎼🖤💔💔💔
She is the Greatest Female singer in History ❤️❤️❤️
L BBL no 8 I'mon
Judith is the greatest and most beautiful woman singer ever to step on a stage.
No one else comes close!
Judith Durham bringing heaven to earth
You can tell this was from the heart!
One of the best voices ever ! Well done Judith ~ we are blessed that you found your gift and share your talent . 👏😍🎶 ~ Thank you !!!
This is the ultimate. Tremendous!!
Judith could sing a list of IP addresses or telephone numbers and the world would listen in rapture. Unparalleled talent ❤️❤️
The heavenly choir come to earth.
Truly the voice of a lovely person. I saw the Seekers live in 1964. A magnificent sound of such warmth and harmony.. this performance of The Lord’s Prayer has what the italian Bel Canto school of singing call “imposto” where the whole body makes the sound. It’s not just a beautiful sound but deeply “honest”. That was always what the Seekers sound was...honest. There’ll never be another them!
Couldn't agree more......The Seekers songs...pure, honest, clean-cut songs.....won't ever see the like again....ever
Thomas. And the'll never find another them. Just brilliant.
This is such a sad night for me. She will be so missed. What an angel!
Brought tears to my eyes. Partly because that song always makes me emotional, partly seeing Judith in her beautiful youth, and partly in realization that both that time, and her are gone forever.
I have only come across this video, the voice of a Angel, so powerful and yet so sweet singing the Lords prayer, Judith will be with the Lord now, RIP.
Wow this really moved me bless her
What can I add to the other comments; Judith is one of a kind and certainly a gift!
The amazing Judith Durham bringing heaven to earth!
A wonderful version of this song. She was such a very good singer.
Judith Burham has the voice and spirit of an angel who brought homage to Our Father with this song. Brought tears to my eyes. Certainly want her as my Angel when we meet in Heaven!
A beauty who will be missed from our lives God rest in peace Judith you were beautiful inside and out your voice I personally loved ,you lit up our lives and I'm sure all Australians are so so proud of you,I'm in Ireland and wish you the peace and happiness in the next world,God bless you.
A voice for the ages.
Judith is one of the greatest voices of the 20th century!
I think she is the greatest. She raises feelings in away no other singer is capable of doing.
I have been hearing a song in my head for the last week which is "I know I'll never find another you". I finally looked it up yesterday especially since I loved it back then in the 60s as a kid. I thought the Mamas and Papas sang it but was surprised to see the seekers did it and was not familiar with the group, just their songs. Then I found out Judith just recently died. God has a message of his love for me. Judith did such good work for him. She must be so happy now :)
Blessed be Your Name.
I know not this women personally, but my ❤ loves her always
Outstanding, incredibly beautiful lady, astounding Voice ❤
This just put chills all over me.....lovely
A very beautiful and powerful rendition!
I was brought up in a Roman Catholic Jesuit school having to recite this drivel countless times, but I think listening to this now, it is the only time ‘ve ever actually enjoyed hearing it.
Come back home ❤
What an awesome voice! Giving praise to her creator. She's with Jesus now forever.
She gave me chills again. Just beautiful.
As another person said. A God given talent. X
Excellent rendition on this song. Thanks Judith!!!
Delightful! I have never heard a rhythmic interpretation quite like that. She makes it all her own.
It is the vibrato. Almost uncanny in its naturalness.
Absolutely beautiful. A tribute to God. She sang it with reverence and awe without dragging it out so much as I've heard others do. I thank God for Judith Durham.
She sang it as a prayer, not as a performance.
I love all of the songs by The Seekers.....Judith has a beautiful voice
She singing with all the angels, i can't wait!
So divine voice, this woman is a real angel ❤❤❤
Great Voice!
WOW!! Simply Beautiful!!!!
Praise The Lord, In Jesus Lovely Name, AMEN 🙏
Absolutely fllawless delivery. It's almost hard to fathom that someone can sing like this. This gift was given to Judith and millions of people around the world were lucky to have been able to hear her sing from the 1960's and into the 2000's;, either through concerts, TV , radio or albums.
Now she sings with the angels, her beautiful voice in heaven forevermore.
What a unique tone she had. Unforgettable.
one of the all time greats!
Judith Durham most certainly a sweet angel with heavens music
Wow ! What a voice!
Clearest, purest voice in the world. I adored Judith Durham and the Seekers. All their songs were so melodic, and the lyrics clean--fit for any occasion. I hope she trusted in Jesus, and is in Heaven today, and forever.
Dominum vobiscum .Sister Judith you belong with the Saints for gifts to our world
Though I enjoy contemporary praise songs, there's something simple and pure in this song that causes one to worship God Almighty.
The Heavenly Choir just added another Angel. RIP Judith
OMG just beautiful

Glorious 😇 There will be a State Memorial Service to be held at Hamer Hall to honour the life of Judith on Tuesday 6th September, 2022 from 6:00 pm. The service will be live-streamed.
"A Time for Everything".
A Time to embrace.
A Time to speak.
"Hallowed be thy Name".
Amen.
Absolutely beautiful!
So beautiful...and the song is great too!
Whenever I listen to Judith Durham sing the Lord’s Prayer or Mary’s Boy Child, (not to mention her rendition of Danny Boy and quite a number of her other works), I get the feeling I am wrong about there being no god. Her singing is so utterly wonderful that I get tears in my eyes!.
YOU are WRONG about there being no GOD....read God's Holy word....
You are wrong that there is no God. He is your creator, and He sent His Son, Jesus Christ to be punished for your sin, so you could have eternal life. Call upon Jesus to save you
Mario Lanza singing this to an organ in church is my favourite rendition but Judith, though different,is heavenly.Just moved my heart.Beautiful lady with indescribable voice.
WHAT A GLORIOUS VOICE , AMAZING !
Love It!
she is an angel
Just Perfect.
The voice of an Angel, so clear may she Rest in peace
What an amazing voice!
