- Όταν έγραψε το «Blowing in the wind», ο Μπομπ Ντύλαν ήταν μόνο 21 ετών. Ο Peter Yarrow/Peter και ο Noel Stookey/Paul.

This song, and "Where have all the flowers gone"--- bring tears to my eyes--- as a Vietnam veteran, it strikes home in so many ways--RIP Walter Soutar--my friend and fellow soldier.
Americal Division and the 101 Airborne 1968-1969.....People today have no idea how precious this democracy is and what price has been paid for it. They have no idea how hard it would be to get it back if they lose it.....Well, my friend, we made it back but we are still dodging and weaving.

66 years old and as I recall to my 7 year old eyes and ears Mary Travers and this song were the most beautiful things ever...still are.
This song will be played and sung as long as human beings are around. A song that represents an era of time. Beautiful and timeless.
contradiction ! you're correct saying this song will be played and sung "as long as human beings are around". But how can it be that it "represents an era of time" ?????? don't get overwhelmed by emotion, which is perfectly understood. you're right with the 1st statement.
@@monoecumsemper Representing an era of time is a concept that can't really be explained. When you get older, you may understand. God bless.
Mary death was a great. Loss to great group of greatest singer's
The 60's could have ascended the human race to a higher vibe due to the music of the era, but the generals and politicians sold out for wars to keep us enslaved for another 60 years. Now is the harvest going on and the generals and politicians and their handlers will get the noose they deserve.
@@monoecumsemper One of my favorites growing up but unfortunately it is forgotten by most now as these horrible times are progressing. I had faith in humankind in the sixties but the times have changed like Dylan said.

Always knew this song first heard in the 60s had questions that still have not been answered to this day in 2022.
The answer is still blowing in the wind. Mankind has grown more violent, bitter, mean, rude, hateful, jealous, disrespectful, arrogant, two face, narcissistic, selfish, greedy, sinful, on and on and on. The answer blowing in the wind will be revealed soon as mankind destroys itself. Good luck filling up your gas hog land yacht's at $9 a gallon gas coming soon in summer! USA TITANIC now sinking fast!
The answer is all these wars, conflicts, hardships, etc., experienced everywhere were no accident. The "invisible government" were pulling the strings during all those time up until now. Most will not understand (yet), but will eventually. Most won't be able to handle the truth, but it has to be revealed anyway. Sooner than you think.
I have heard... it is said and it must be done... hmmm...
Can't be answered. Evil is always present. I hate that, too. It's Biblical.
You're absolutely right about that.

If Bob Dylan had written only one song, this one would have been sufficient.
How many roads must a man walk down
Before you call him a man?
How many seas must a white dove sail
Before she sleeps in the sand?
How many times must the cannonballs fly
Before they're forever banned?
The answer, my friend, is blowin' in the wind
The answer is blowin' in the wind
How many years must a mountain exist
Before it is washed to the sea?
How many years can some people exist
Before they're allowed to be free?
How many times can a man turn his head
And pretend that he just doesn't see?
The answer, my friend, is blowin' in the wind
The answer is blowin' in the wind
How many times must a man look up
Before he can see the sky?
How many ears must one man have
Before he can hear people cry?
How many deaths will it take 'til he knows
That too many people have died?
The answer, my friend, is blowin' in the wind
The answer is blowin' in the wind

Rest in Peace... Mary! Thanks for so many years of great music and thanks Bob for writing the song.
One of my favorite songs I am 72 years old and it is very memorable to me as I am in the Autumn my life now and it is still relevant
It is a beautiful rendition, timeless and relevant now today. We see it everywhere today just like we did as young men and women in the turbulent 1960s. Peter's opening words prophetic.
I was teenager in the 60s and the Vietnam War that took many Youngs life of our country. That song was really tighten to those events that we lived in that era.
A great musical masterpiece. After all these years the answer is STILL blowing in the wind...but mankind's greed for power and materialistic wealth seems to mask the truth. Sad, but we live in hope.

One of the best song of all time ever!
I love This song ... like many songs in The 1960s and 1970s ... so deep with simple lyrics ... gentle rhythm ... my Era
I first heard this song back in 1969 and thought about it and I now listen to it about twice a year or so and it still makes me stop and think about these questions. As long as people want what others have the cannon balls will continue to fly. The questions are ones that should be answered, but people just do not think.
One of the most impactful songs of my teen years! I've asked these questions throughout the years and today the answer I've found is in Jesus Christ! He knows and I have peace!
Thank you for sharing our Lord with everyone as the only path to peace. Perhaps someone reading your comment might come to know Him as we do. He is the way, the truth and the life. If more people opened their hearts to Him there would be less senseless death and no more wars. In this world we will have tribulation but He has overcome the world and in Him we can be changed and violence will cease. The answer my friend is no longer blowing in the wind, it is in Jesus Christ, the Savior of the world. Come everyone! Time is short!

81, and still very relevant. Written by Bob Dylan. So Many Groups have sung Dylan's songs. That's why he received the Nobel Prize. But Dylan wrote so many other songs. Rolling Stone, Mr. Tambourine Man, Desolation Row, etc. The last poet that could compare was Shakespeare in a different century.
