Damn.. You remember back in vanilla where Naxx was something that 99% of the players were just dreaming of. You were just amazed by the players standing in Ironforge with shiny armors from Naxx Now all the end-game conent is so way too easy to obtain. That is ruining the feeling of adventure since there isn't that "epic loot only few can obtain" in the end of the road.
I know it's not all about the loot but it's about progress for me. Now you just click LFG or LFR and you have everything there. You had to do quests before to even get access to the raids. And Warlock check your facts again, It was a 40-man raid in vanilla. www.wowwiki.com/Naxxramas_%28original%29
***** I won't blow up on you like most would but FYI Naxx was originally created as the final dungeon of Vanilla. They actually released it shortly before TBC came out and given the relatively expensive attunement process then, the high skill cap, and the 40 player requirement it is roughly true that only about 1% of the player base got to take a trip into Naxx back then.
Yeah, content for the 1% while the 99% sit and dream. The purpose of any game. Unobtainable loot and impossible-to-do content. Mythic raiding is hard enough if you want a challenge, AND it lets everyone experience the game through normal and heroic mode. But i suppose you feel less validated nowadays with a fairer system.
Jax Spot Harder than dark souls? yes and no. If you had a team of 40 trying to do dark souls bosses its impossible. can't compare difficulty like that. and yes i played vanilla, not much has changed in the community.
+Sheut the far seer Then it must of been your server if the community was the same to you as it is in its current state. My 2 cents in a couple month old post is Raid/Dungeon Finder killed the community in WoW.
***** oh of course it did, though buying gold was always a thing, blizz just made it legal (so to speak) Cross realm isn't really bullshit, LFG and LFR are pretty cancer though. But no, the game was hard because the community in Vanilla was crazy, and the game wasn't scaled.
***** Cross realm did not do that for any server i've been on lol. Vanilla is incredibly simple, to the point where anyone can do it. The issue is you either need a lot of free time to do ANYTHING at all in vanilla, or be really damn patient. Not much skill, as classes determined if you were useful or not.
Well are you saying that you are one of those hard core players? Have you gotten world first or joined a progression guild before? if not, you have no right to criticise blizzard's shift to more casual focused and more convenient gameplay.
Yeah exactly, i'm one of those old players who came on the game when Vanilla was released, and complete all major pre-bc instance, with my guild, the" Brothers in Arms", small but effective guild. And i'm not only criticising Blizzard politics about the gameplay, making the game easier for casual players and etc. This is not the true problem. The problem is that they killed the "spirit" of the game. It's hard to explain, any player who started WoW pre-bc will say to you that something went wrong with this extension.
Wow does have some amazing soundtracks ingame. I remember times ingame where a song just captivates me whether its in an instance, raid or running around, its just pure eargasm.
Couldn't agree more. I remember being a private at lvl 60 and seeing High Warlords and Grand Marshals. I was in awe. I didn't quite grasp the game and become a really good player till TBC. I never got the chance to do much i Pre TBC. Wish I coulda have :(
Awesome song! Makes me see the creators shaping the world, and I'm there floating across the world, or looking from another angle how they create giant seas, massive plains and towering mountains.
I couldn't agree more there, This song along with, Echoes of the past, And call to arms + The PRE TBC intro song, makes me think about PRE TBC days of wow and Warcraft 3-2 and 1, and so on :D The days of wow when it was at its best, PRE TBC

THE best of the songs without any doubt.
This is just amazing, beautiful piece of music.
Hola Karlanas y Karlanos
THE LEGION WILL CONQUER ALL! LOKTAR OGAR For The Horde! FOR THE ALLIANCE! FOR THE LICH KING! YOU ARE NOT PREPARE! FOR WARCRAFT!
***** When blizz puts me in the game they will nerf me by 9999% so... No!
***** /AFK
+Lord Kil'jaeden

Skynet With sargeras!
Lord Kil'jaeden
hell yah !!!
This is a perfect song !
Nice job !!
Epic piece of music right there.
1:17 the titans raised their hands, shaping the world, first the land, then the water, then infused those with magic, that gave life and power to their creation, they smile, proud, but also cry, because their beloved sons are going to fight over that land, water, magic and power, childrens on tin armor (wink wink) playing with their lives in a world shaped by conflict, a world of warcraft!
Is that main horn the French Horn? Sounds so triumphant...
Exactly
Dalton Feasel yes!!!! I am thinking of producing the music sheet for my Bb clarinet, pump up the volume in my living room, and just play the exact same thing as that french horn while the music plays... I think it will me majestic!! That horn IS SOOOOOOOOO MAJESTIC!!
Long live the Warcraft Series.
Never forget the games we grew up with as time passes.
Listening to this in this dreadful year. 2006 was when I first payed this game; happy times
LISTEN UP EVERYONE I AM FROM THE FUTURE!
WORLD OF WARCRAFT WILL BE REVIVED ON AUGUST 27th of 2019!
OUR MEMORIES TOGETHER WILL NEVER BE FORGOTTEN!
WHETHER IT IS FOR THE HORDE OR FOR THE ALLIANCE!
WE ARE ALL A GREAT BIG FAMILY!
LIKE IT UP AND LETS RELIVE OUR GREAT MEMORIES TOGETHER!
Its not all about the loot.
I think it's because you're less of a noob now. I'm still a noob, and I am amazed whenever I see someone in heroic armor.
Yeah, content for the 1% while the 99% sit and dream. The purpose of any game. Unobtainable loot and impossible-to-do content. Mythic raiding is hard enough if you want a challenge, AND it lets everyone experience the game through normal and heroic mode. But i suppose you feel less validated nowadays with a fairer system.
i just can't stop listening this track, it's so amazing!
Gotta love this track
attention all vanilla fanboys. stop ruining a good song with your comments. let's all just listen to it, and not complain.
+Sheut the far seer maybe you should just stop reading
Not much skill, as classes determined if you were useful or not.
ill look back on this song when im 60 and shed a tear for the days of The Burning Crusade.
WoW has really went to shit.
Its just you that changed. Don't blame the game you used to love.
Hanning G
We blame Blizzard for his casual politics, they ruined their own game in the heart of many players.
Hanning G
And don't think i've stop playing after the release of BC, i've played it like WoTLK, so i've seen all the changes that happened by myself.
Simply beautiful :)
Powerful, beautiful, magically
Wow does have some amazing soundtracks ingame. I remember times ingame where a song just captivates me whether its in an instance, raid or running around, its just pure eargasm.
Couldn't agree more. I remember being a private at lvl 60 and seeing High Warlords and Grand Marshals. I was in awe. I didn't quite grasp the game and become a really good player till TBC. I never got the chance to do much i Pre TBC. Wish I coulda have :(
You can't imagine how perfectly you just described what wow does to people
Awesome! 10/5
i have no words for this... TO EPIC!!!!!!!!
Yeah I agree!!!! This music is great no matter what else!!!!

Waah, gives me chills every time i listen to it. Brr, feels good, like the good ol' times.
OMG, this is pure EPICNESS!!! Damn!! >.
Awesomness!
It's gamers like you that re-ignite my passion for WoW
And that's why video game music is awesome. Accept no substitutes.
My favourite music in the game, still remember it from the old 2005 Clizz Con presentation. Superb!!
Awesome song! Makes me see the creators shaping the world, and I'm there floating across the world, or looking from another angle how they create giant seas, massive plains and towering mountains.
i never thought that i would say this, but when i hear this song, i just wanna live in REAL world of warcraft.
El Diario de Karlanna
I couldn't agree more there, This song along with, Echoes of the past, And call to arms + The PRE TBC intro song, makes me think about PRE TBC days of wow and Warcraft 3-2 and 1, and so on :D The days of wow when it was at its best, PRE TBC
awwwwww man I love this game, only the music blows my mind with its epicness
one of my favorite tracks ever
This is the very embodiment of nostalgia.
Music is great for sure!
Got the albums on my phone, but this is still my fav (:
