This soundtrack is from "The Founding of Durotar" in Warcraft 3: the Frozen Throne. But i still imagine this being played in a warcraft movie, while the Horde, Alliance and Night Elves prepare for the Battle of Mount Hyjal. Just epic. i sometimes go to Old Hillsbrad just to hear this music XD
What I really love about this piece is that it tells a tale, one of adventure, of adversaries, of hard times and good times and, of course, a lot of booze! If this doesn't get you in the mood, I don't know what will.
This gives me hard nostalgia even though i played this when i was seven for a few years and now that im 17 im glad i got to play this game and feel bad for those who havnt
This song symbolizes the REAL wow not the one now... It has the real world of warcraft spirit which is now almost lost unfortunately... And its not just about WoW... The things i imagine and come to my fantasy once i listen to this are just...incredible...adventure, fantasy, dragons, celebrating with your brothers in arms in the warm tavern, safe from the raw weather and dangers which we fight and andventure trough! Every second of this song is pure awesomeness!!
i recall this track very fondly from Warcraft 2, and also during the Warcraft 3 expac. Some people were wondering where in the "World of Warcraft" it appears. It's part of Thrall's theme in Caverns of Time: Escape From Durnholde (Old Hillsbrad)
no deathwing spent his time in the earth and the old gods whispered into his head making him become insane just like yogg-saron makes you go insane if you run out of sanity in the fight against him
I never got the chance to play Warcraft 1, but own Warcraft ll and lll. While I have never finished them (I am terribad at RTS games), I know the entire story from both games, and more. Don't get me wrong, I still recognize this song from WCll. Epic.
:'D old hilly oh man the CoT instances were THE BEST old hilly being the best of the best because it had so much lore in it, and because it felt like an open world instance
one time i entered the CoT instance and i was surprised about being human... but i went to southshore and hung around there before heading back xD soo fun
In WC2, the orc campaign, during the 1st or 2nd cinematic, the orc is burning 3 impaled human bodies - the initial tune from here is playing. Most of the orc 3 theme from WC2 serves as the base for the beginning of this song. So many WoW players never played WC1 or 2, it's annoying sometimes.
This song was in Warcraft 2.This was the 2nd orc theme. Starting at about 0:24 it's instantly recognizable. I don't recognize it from Warcraft 3 though. Where was it played in WC3?
Well, i gotta say this: while in COT Durnholde, as a tauren in human shape, saving Thrall and killing alliance's king who doesn't want to free Thrall, well, i fell so goooooooood. And fighting side-by-side to Thrall it's an honour. I love to devastate alliance. It's an honour and a pleasure. For tha Hordeeeeeeeeee
Game - the best piece of software under the Sun. Music - the true masterpiece of epicness. Story - it's better than parents - who now dares to compare it to LOTR?
couldn't agree with you more - their money obsession ruined everything. They systematically took out of the game everything that was nice, true-Rpg, adventurous...everything that made belonging to a certain server fun....just hopeless. The older content had such a well crafted atmosphere of... well just what you said really; a really nice rp'ing feel that was nostalgic and fun. Shows that human beings can't be relied on
Partly, this can be heard on the official Collector's Edition WoW Soundtrack CD. Plus on that collection every song from vanilla wow is freshly orchestrated, and sound a LOT better than the same music ingame, ex. Stormwind music.
Thrall: Rexxar! are you prepared to aid the horde once again?
Rexxar: Always.
Ah! The Rexxar missions in wc3... now those were a good way to pass the time while having no internet
On the prowl
You could say, they are echoes of the past.
The war drums are amazing...
+Patty Lumpkins Easily the best part!
"What do you mean 'what accent is this'? It's a TROLL accent! Jamaican me crazy..."
What I really love about this piece is that it tells a tale, one of adventure, of adversaries, of hard times and good times and, of course, a lot of booze!
If this doesn't get you in the mood, I don't know what will.
WARCRAFT 3 OMFG I MISS U
Is for warcraft 2 idiot
+society Mc Gagen originally yes, but this version is almost exactly the same that plays in Warcraft III.
@@Balnazzardi This IS the version from Warcraft III. But yes, it was originally known as "Orc 2" on the Warcaft II soundtrack.
OMG! This song brings back a lot of wc3 memories, before mmorgp cough*wow*cough ruined the glory of RTS. damn good old days...
This gives me hard nostalgia even though i played this when i was seven for a few years and now that im 17 im glad i got to play this game and feel bad for those who havnt
I did some snow shoveling today.
Walking through 3 feet snow with this playing in my iPod made it pretty nice.
Thumbs up if you want this soundtrack in the Warcraft Movie!
very epic, imagine when u run with your char with this sounds, makes the game so much... intresting.
The intro has been stuck in my head all day. Finally found the track. :D
I love how most of the people don't know this is a copied version of the warcraft 3 version
I just realize WoW have music from W2
damn I miss this version for 13 years
one of the reason why I like play as Horde in Warcraft 2
This song symbolizes the REAL wow not the one now... It has the real world of warcraft spirit which is now almost lost unfortunately... And its not just about WoW... The things i imagine and come to my fantasy once i listen to this are just...incredible...adventure, fantasy, dragons, celebrating with your brothers in arms in the warm tavern, safe from the raw weather and dangers which we fight and andventure trough! Warcraft 3... i fucking miss you so much. Rest in peace, you will always be in my memory.
This, to me, is forever THE music of Warcraft.
Today, these truly are the echoes of the past, remembering us on how WoW used to be epic one day!
Thats so surreal to read that in 2023
Reminds me of when I had just graduated high school and I couldn't think of anything better to do than play wc3 tower defense games.
Durnholde is one of my favorite instances, and not just because of the awesome song :)
the warcraft movie better be epic with all this good music at its disposal
i recall this track very fondly from Warcraft 2, and also during the Warcraft 3 expac.
Some people were wondering where in the "World of Warcraft" it appears.
It's part of Thrall's theme in Caverns of Time: Escape From Durnholde (Old Hillsbrad)
How can you not like this?!!?
What lies before me !
Sad that the modern kids will never get this unbelievable experience of rts games.
Warcraft 3 ist nostalgic as fuck🔥
It was, opening song for the Orc bonus campaign (staring Rexxar and Misha) in Warcraft 3: The Frozen Throne
@DruidsGoPewPew dude all these short stories you post on videos are epic awesome good job keep it up!
"... Вот так вот дружище! Много лет я странствую по свету и уже устал от одиночества."
and this, people, is a perfect example of internet communication
Thank you. I was looking for it something about 3 months.
guys it was in frozen throne , the beginning was at the horde campaign ; foundation of durotar
This reminds me of waiting in Battlenet looking through thousands of DoTAs for an interesting match.
no deathwing spent his time in the earth and the old gods whispered into his head making him become insane just like yogg-saron makes you go insane if you run out of sanity in the fight against him

Don't get me wrong, I still recognize this song from WCll. Epic.

Medivh
+Kåpla Kvëhla traitor
So medivhall
@DisneyClassicmusic
This song plays in WC3 in the Rexxar campaign, and in WoW during Durnholde Keep (when u escape with Thrall)
Probably the best instance music so far :)
Ah, this brings back memories of playing Warcraft 3 virtually every day....
:'D old hilly oh man the CoT instances were THE BEST old hilly being the best of the best because it had so much lore in it, and because it felt like an open world instance
This song is like a mango... you have to experience it more than once to really like it.
ConstantinosTiberius, thats true. Ah, good ol' days...
Btw sound that plays when Alliance win BGs is also taken from WC2 Human Victory Theme
I can imagine being an Orc pirate fighting the Humans in a ship to ship battle with this! :)
one time i entered the CoT instance and i was surprised about being human... but i went to southshore and hung around there before heading back xD soo fun
I still have the WC2 soundtrack on my PC for nostalgia. WC2 Soundtrack was awesome.
This was originally from Wc2 for the Orcs. Was awesome.
@mogh07 It's a remake of the song from Warcraft 2 called "Orc 2". It's one of the orc themes.
This song was in Warcraft 2.This was the 2nd orc theme. Starting at about 0:24 it's instantly recognizable.
I don't recognize it from Warcraft 3 though. Where was it played in WC3?
Warcraft 3 had an awesome story and soundtrack!!
FOR THE HORDEEEEEE
I see Rexxar before me...
Oh how i will miss you 2006
omg! this song is in both warcraft 2 and warcraft 3 and even in world of warcraft
This song is from Wc3 which is actually a remastered version of orc music from Wc2.
It's also from Thrall's escape from Durnholde.
Lok'Tar Ogar! For the Horde!
this is probally the most epic soundtrack in the warcraft series.
LOVE this music.
From Wc3 and expansion
Yeah, Its played in Old Hillsbrad to give Players a more historical edge
Beautiful music
The old Lordaeron!I like this song
Brings back so many memories .... :)
Goosebumps!!! The memories....
Game - the best piece of software under the Sun.
Music - the true masterpiece of epicness.
Story - it's better than parents - who now dares to compare it to LOTR?
This is a WC3 expansion remix of one of the Orc tracks from Warcraft 2.
Who doesn't like Mango the first time around? And who wouldn't like this song?!
Love the Warcraft music, so many memories:)
Ah yes you're right. Now that you mention the chain sound lol.
@nikola4honorable, you mean Warcraft 2. This is the "orc theme" from that game =)
i remenber this music from playing the rexxar campaing from the fronzen throne expansion for warcraft 3!
Intresting a combination Of forest dwarvis delight and a little pity there for Honor but i love that song with faith!
Beautiful music. I like the unusual 6/4 pattern (6 beats in a measure)!
This song was in WoW. Old hilsbrad foothils outdoors.
warcraft 3 battlenet tune^^ i heard it 10.000 times
couldn't agree with you more - their money obsession ruined everything. campaign music :) i remember this :)
Porfin encontré esta melodía, tarde 3 años. Me trae recuerdos cuando me escapaba para ir a jugar al ciber
I like how it sounds more.. er.. 'grand', than the one I heard in Warcraft II. I still love both versions though!
man I absolutely loved wc2 =)
Echoes of the past indeed...
if you see the new ulduar trailer you see that thrall is a good and peaceful leader of the HORDE!!
Old hillsbrad was my favourite ever
This is one of my favorite songs from Warcraft!
For the Horde!
I love all WoW music!
idd you can also hear a part of it in old hillsbrad foothills
world of warcraft and warcraft2&3 are my favo pc games so far :)
Partly, this can be heard on the official Collector's Edition WoW Soundtrack CD. Plus on that collection every song from vanilla wow is freshly orchestrated, and sound a LOT better than the same music ingame, ex. Stormwind music.
good old days. Now it is time for Starcraft 2!
perfect theme for the orcs if you ask me, it's primitive but it has a sense of honor in it
I remember listening to this, while leveling my Tauren druid from 0-60.. Also, WC3 power
great to listen to when you play anything else
Based boomer
