This was a great video. I wanted to check about transferring the seedlings into compost. I thought compost was to hot for seedlings and would burn them?
It’s kohlrabi and they will be fine in there for another few weeks and then they’re good to go out ☺️ I prefer using smaller modules if possible as a space saving thing!
If the seedlings are starting to get true leaves it’s almost past the best time for pricking out. Do not let them get any bigger. If you don’t believe me do a little experiment, prick some out before true leaves appear and do the rest when they have there true leaves. The first seedlings pricked out will out perform the later ones.
Very helpful,
Great presentation format..
Visually thorough and explanatory
Thank you
Thank you! 💚🤗
The bigger the roots when pricking out the bigger the fruits and faster growth..etc
I am really enjoying all of your videos!! THANK YOU xoxoxoxo
Thank you so much! 🥰❤️😘
Where did you get the small green trays? They are a great size.

No, this is quite a common misconception but compost is absolutely fine and that’s what I plant all my seedlings into ☺️
@@SowMuchMore thank you for your response🙂
@@leighmcmanus8378 you're very welcome!
what you do with the remaining seedling? do you prick out them all?
Yes I prick them all out and plant the strongest ones 😊
Loving your work 😊 👍
Thank you so much 😊💚
Hey Becky...i loved this video...where did you purchase the small rectangle containers that you are holding in the first few minutes of the video?
Hi Jan, they're just from my local garden centre I'm afraid! Should be available in most garden centres 💚
Nice video. I'm also busy doing this now.
Explained so well 👏 ❤😊
Thank you! 😊
Nice video Becky! But wasn't the tray a little small for the red cabbage? It looked so small!
