  • After your seeds have germinated and you have a seedling plant it will need potting on into a bigger pot or cell so it can thrive and grow. Potting on is sometimes also called 'pricking out' or transplanting.
Pot on your seedlings after their first pair of true leaves have emerged. You can find more tips in my video.

Thank you. You are so calming to watch and so understandable. Some presenters move so quickly I can't keep up. Thanks again. Xx

That's a nice green house! For now we use window sills/shelves in the garage. My tip for you would be to buy a box of latex gloves in your size for doing seed work and for wearing underneath normal garden gloves in the winter time when its cold and wet! great video

Hello, thanks so much for watching and what a great tip! I had never thought about doing something like that under garden gloves for winter time but I do spend a lot of time over the winter months with wet cold hands as it just seeps through the gloves I have.

@@cloudberryflowers-flowerfarm Yeah you can get a box in small for very cheap online. They give great dexterity for smaller jobs.

Hi I have grown forget me knots in a seed tray how do I prick them out ?

@@pamnagra9549 thanks for watching 🙂 if you wait until the forget me not seedlings are just big enough to handle you can gently separate them out holding them by the leaves and put into individual small pots of compost. They will probably flower for you next year rather than this one.
