- Another EnduroKA event this time takes us to Oulton Park, a track which is quickly becoming my favourite. I enjoyed the KA race at Anglesy back in June so signed myself up for this round there and then.
The day had its ups and downs, and a few technical failures on my part (mixed emotions yet again with GoPros)

Hey Danny.👋 After watching you race the KA a couple of times, I'm fairly certain that you can make anything go fast, maybe faster than the engineers had ever intended. So funny seeing y'all whip the shit outta those kahs as they barely even make a sound. The little NAPA machine took it pretty well. At Oulton Park, NAPA = Not Another Penalty, Aaargh! Still a damn good performance. 2nd place in a pack of 35 looks great on paper, but obviously you weren't satisfied and wanted more. I felt your pain, man. I know you were disappointed, but that's the way it is for those of us who give a damn about what we do. It's true, the most difficult battles often come from within. But if I've learned one thing from getting to know you over the years, your perseverance will always set you right. Good video as always, especially the bonus whingin' at the end.😅👍 Have a great week ahead, Dan.🤙

Unlucky. Finishing 2nd a few seconds off the leader after the penalties is a great result though. Driving slow cars fast is definitely not easy, can't imagine going flat through Druids! 😁

If you're going to try a dashcam then look into the dual camera motorcycle based units. They allow remote placement of the cameras, I've had good luck with mine in endurance races.

One of my favorite aspects of your videos is the pedal cam. I try to learn from your mistakes to help sort out my own :) In the qualifying skid when the rear stepped out, I saw the obvious countersteer but noticed you were pumping the gas pedal. Was this intentional? (I might have just answered my own question... this is a FWD car right? That would make more sense why you were giving it gas)

Are the gopros wired to the battery? They could be freaking out if the alternator regulator is shagged 👍👍👍
Nah nothing like that. Was just the GoPro didn’t have a battery in so when starter motor kicked in GoPro kicked off

A gopro hard wired into the car will reset itself when ignition is turned on/off. Use a power bank to power the gopros.

Rubbish go pro footage and a ‘disappointing’ result - still a cracking video mate. Odd seeing the driving obviously flat out on the edge with hardly any engine/exhaust noise at all!

That's the curse of motorsport, never happy unless you win, always left with the 'what ifs'. Better that though than not doing it properly and shitting about at the back of the field...
