- It has finally happened. The first round of the EnduroKa Championship at Donington Park and what a special day it was. Join me for a behind the scenes VLOG. We discuss race strategy and have a few unplanned pit stops but still finish strongly and in the process learned a huge amount for the next round.

It might not be that fast BUT it's super close racing and a real test of driving 👍
@@PetrolPed Exactly ... in this race there is not so much difference of performance, as for example occurs in F1 ... The pilot is the most important and not the money of the team or technology on board.

Just 7 laps off is really well done for a fledgling team! It’ll just be race experience (including in the garage) and some luck as always... and dare I say it maybe a trick or two that might get past the scroots! ;-)

Love it, great video, really captures the buzz. I know that buzz and tiredness as I competed in 3 of the C1 races last year. I cant wait to get back in the seat again this year. Maybe we will see you in a C1 at some point.

Sorry. I had a bit of a disaster in that front. My camera failed and the other in-car footage I was sent corrupted and I was unable to get it sorted before this video needed to be scheduled. I will be putting some footage onto Facebook very shortly 👍

Bravo that's the spirit. UK has amazing motorsport culture... a Ka cham[ionship is very interesting and helps novice drivers also. How is it funded/organised? Is it part of the UK motorsport federation (like BTCCC...)??
The teams fund themselves by sponsorship and 'arrive and drive' drivers like me. It's a really great championship and it's only one race in 👍

My camera fell off it mounting and the footage from the other camera corrupted when it was sent to me yesterday and I couldn't get it sorted before the video had to go live. I'll try and out some on Facebook in the coming days 👍

Hi Glenn. The Ka on track handles really well. I has uprated shocks but totally standard engine so not very much power ! You have to drive very smooth and take speed through the corners. I'll be at the Ford Power Festival at Brand Hatch later this year so hope to see you then 👍
@@PetrolPed oh Nice, see you there mate, So the engine is a stock one, this means that the driver skills must be super, to do really fast Laps on the track
Those tyres look to be standard tread depth ( 8mm ). Skim the tread down to 4mm, the tyre will not move on the tyre block, and the tyres last longer....
Not sure what you toe settings are on the front but try 0 toe.
Gavin Ivers there shaven down before.
We’re not a lot to do much with set up on geometry and it’s hard to do anything on these things and a no no also.
The tyres are controlled and shaved already. Apart from controlled shocks there are no changes to suspension geometry allowed unfortunately 😥
Just off to see how you did at Oulton Park.
I didn’t do a YT video from Oulton. I just wanted to concentrate on the racing 👍

@@PetrolPed If it were K.A. it would be separated by dots and have two capital letters. As an aside, they are great little cars.
