Well done. 24hr racing is hard work. We just did a 24hr motorbike endurance race at teesside. 24hrs, 6 riders, 35 minutes max stints, so you never get long enough off the bike for a sleep. We lost a rider 6hrs in, so did 18hrs with 5 lads, 30 minute stints. Teesside you get zero rest either. A brutal event, but a top achievement as the flag comes out. We had no pit crew either, so just the riders to do pit duties for the whole event. At least you get a comfy seat and lots of long straights to help rest a little. Would have loved a bash at that too, love anglesey

As a club racer on bikes, it's nice to see the comparison to a car club racer on a tight/non existent budget The onboard stuff shows just how hard you push, even when externally, it may not look like it. A really good insight, real world look, at club racing
I wish i could have an opportunity to compete in plop enduro..especially at tesside 😍 Too bad me and my team based in malaysia... We have annual kapcai endurance.. (cub-chai bike) with multiple class.. 100cc 4stroke, 120cc 4stroke and 150cc 4stroke... 4hours endurance race... (Grand finale were held in sepang circuit 3mins of wot 4th gear, meanwhile state elimination round held in small karting circuit nationwide) Me and my team have multiple 100cc class wins since 2013-2018... But never got the chance to go uk side to have a go in plop endurance... 😓

This video made for a very relaxed, chill Sunday afternoon watch for me, except for that bit around 12:30 ish.😅👌 Nice one, Dan. Shotout to the whole crew on a job well done. Also, props to the lad backing that big rig out in one go. On a side note, I even picked up a few new (new to me) synonyms for the ol' vocabulary... kip and star jumps. Still don't know exactly how to say KA, so kah it is. I fully expected the Sukaru 555 to be piloted by KAlin McRae.😜 I enjoyed the vlog as always, mate. I was in the Sukaru when you kissed my arch😄. I only did that maneuver so I could get in your video😉. The reality was it was my first few laps at Anglesey, I've only got into racing and EnduroKa this year, and I was trying a different line out of the corkscrew. Steep learning curve! Great video, really enjoyed it👍 PS. We were in 6th with 7 hours to go, easily our highest of the year...but then had to have a new clutch😭
Ahh sorry about that, I did mean to come over and apologise but the day got away with me. We were chatting to your gaffer towards the end of the race (it was you who sheared a rear hub, right?) Good fun with the KAs!
@@dannyDC2 No worries at all, no harm done🙂...it just took me by surprise is all, the car took it in its stride😄. No, that wasn't us, we're a pretty small team, just the three drivers and no manager as such. We were supported by the fantastic Autotech team (Scott and Vicky) for Anglesey, Scott helped put out the Burton car when it came into the pit with flames underneath!
It's a team cost, £3500 was Anglesey. To prep a Ka including the purchase I would say is £7-8k. We got through £680 of fuel and 11 tyres I think at Anglesey, it all adds up but it's such good value for the track time.

depends if you build the car or not. No motorsport is cheap though, even in KAs. It's a few £k just to enter, then all other costs on top
