The reason it had good numbers is most likely because the straps are loose, looser the straps more power it shows on the dyno. It’s how shops will manipulate their numbers to sell more off the shelf tunes

@@petrolhead8851 By cranking down on the straps it adds hundreds of pounds of force and resistance to the wheels and rollers on the dyno. That is the proper way to do a dyno test and how they are set up to measure. When you take all that force and resistance off, the wheels spin easier making it seem that there is more power.

watched a video of a stage 1 sti anda new brz and the brz had no problems keepin up at all..
I wouldn’t doubt it cause I saw a video where a 2022 brz was neck and neck with a stage one sti those things are pretty quick

You can disable Subaru seatbelt chims, with the car put it in “on” mode, click seatbelt buckle in and out 20 times in 30 seconds and start car

190 is the torque, its 277 horsepower which is really good for a natural asp car

Watching dyno videos after racing my co worker with a fully modified turbo evo were 1-1 30 roll I gapped him surprisingly but he beat me when we were stopped at the light until it turned green but rollers on this car is insane only thing modified on my car is K&n cold air intake and awe track exhaust

@@GSekong yeah I think they’re more closer depending on driver mod. Still crazy thinking this is NA. I currently have a type R and have noticed unless a subaru is turbo upgraded they get left. Fbo+street tunes and I’m dead even with a 5.0 manual. The 10 speeds leave me, but this has me excited for the next wrx and sti tuning wise.
That fa24 is an amazing engine with lots of potential. Wait till they get a new wrx on there. Should make more power with less mods.

Jeezzz 233 on mustang dyno for a brz is still impressive. This car is very tunable.
Man I can't believe how these cars compare to wrx and sti's. I saw a video where this tuned (cobb ots) sti raced a new brz with only a cat back and they were basically even. Sti just a bit ahead. That's crazy.
Also this is probably the best looking 2022 brz I've seen. It's beautiful.

Oh man these cars might be good for bolt on power… this is just exhaust mods and no tune… also unequal length headers which are known to reduce power… maybe add an intake and some fuel mods if needed it could make a solid N/A 280whp which is crazy fast if you look at power to weight ratio
catless headers for 15hp, lightweight pulley+ECU reflash and titanium exhaust for 20-30hp, ITBs for another 10hp, E85 tuning for another 20hp. Yeah you could be right!
