JG improvises one melody after another, not riffing or shredding silliness that some think is important. Listen carefully, he is playing phrases in call and response style; real music played with skill and emotion.
😍
Ronnie druming for Jerry and Elvis is awesome!

Hot damn! That lick at around 3:48 blew my hair straight back!
Ooo yes.. the classic Jerry’s 4 note pulloffs. They are just great
Love how Jerry & Khan are toe to toe. Just serious fun & great music
That's the greatest!
I was thinking -- those drums sound just right. Then I remembered -- that is King Tutt.
That just made my friggin' day! Wow. Now I'm smilin' and feelin' groovy. Thanks Jer!
Pharaoh Tuttakaman crushing it!!
I will always be grateful
On fire here! Even Kahn is shaking his ass
Pure 🔥. Thank you.🕺🙏
Perfection!!!!
The KING ⚡️⚡️⚡️
Drummer Ron Tutt was quite possibly doing this song a few weeks before with his other boss, Elvis Presley.
sittingnextto elvis is the king. Blows these guys away. With james burton and ronnie tutt best drummer ever
@@frankfurfaro1885 James Burton is amazing to be sure-really hot and tight player, but not nearly as expressive and creative as Jerry IMHO
This song is possibly why jerry hires him.
Incredible.
Sahweet Sahweet Rockin Country Jammin Out The Blues/ Sahweet Sahweet Rockin Country/Oh Good God/You Know You’ve Paid Some Dues .
Jerry's rollin' ..The Conductor...
that shitz crazzzzzzzy!!!!
Wow !!! Just Wow !!!!! Thanks for posting and thanks that there's a place to find all this stuff. For me, Jerry just kept elevating his game until the drugs and depression kicked in later. He was a better player here than in 1968. This entire band just rocks. Type of "shredding" I really love.....players listening to each other and making magic.
This is IT!
That Travis bean fuckin screams
killing it
I was there. Capitol Theatre shows were the best. Travis Bean days.
Awesome
I was ridin down the rooooaaaaaad
+Deric Winston Was singing Possum along to this unintentionally during the solo - wonder if this song was an influence
Jerry smiling and having fun. It sucks drugs took mostly all that away nearly 10 years later
7:08-7:30 just absolutely amazing

@ 2:40 here comes the 🔥
Kah-illing it!

It's a mystery, huh? Still a huge percent of JGB videos in b&k out there? I think so.

At 3:48 human society peaked!
💋
Ron tutt?
kieth lookn like cousin It !!!
Come from top of mountain
He's not as technically proficient but he kicks the crap out of some supposed latter day blues masters. Wish he'd stuck with or come back to that Bean, what a sound.
George Clarke Not technically proficient? Smh
Not AS technically proficient I said. But keep s'ingyh.
Your mom's not as technically proficient as Jerry, but she can still get me off!
I agree completely. Playing that guitar Jerry really cemented his reputation as a soloist. I'm sure i'm not the first to say it but as towering a figure as he is, he's still underrated.
