That credits theme broke me down. The gusty garden segment was the most beautiful thing I've heard from a movie, mainly because mario Galaxy is my favorite mario game, too.
Relatable comment
I was so glad Galaxy music made it into the movie :')
The credits theme when I heard the gusty garden Galaxy part made me jump out of my seat. I did start to tear up. It was so good to see
Same here brother
They didn’t need to make Peak. Yet they did it anyways. God bless those musicians
I would choose this over pop songs from the 80s any day of the week
Me too. Backstreet Boys was good, but I'm the kind of guy who likes to broaden my horizons and try something new or different for a change.
Listening to the same song for five hours just gets a bit overrated sometimes.
they added them cause Mario and dk were icons of the 80s too 😅
@@RamblingGreek i think it's fair to use them for the less serious fights
AC/DC is my fav band, so I have a bias for them. Hearing thunderstruck in a Mario movie is something I never knew I needed. I’ll never listen to that song again without thinking of Toad pulling up in his tank with sunglasses on lmao.
I think this is the sole reason they should have had original toad voice because he ALREADY sounds like Brian Johnson
So happy we live in a timeline where Mario gets video game music in a movie.
Hearing THIS particular section of the soundtrack in the theater got me so PUMPED
Saw it last night, and can confirm, the soundtrack was everything my partner and I wanted. Nostalgic and badass.
Tyler NAILED this score. The new themes are fun and the old themes are used so well. Hands down the best part of the movie.
I can't get over how good that Super Mario World Athletic theme sounds
Me too barbershop it sounds like quartet
Yeah, they made sure it sounds as epic as it is whimsical.
this music hits hard 👌
edit: critics need to chill out
Bro when the SuperStar theme played I literally accended
"Level Complete" from the album has to be one of the best instrumental medleys for Mario
WE GETTING OUT OF THE MUSHROOM KINGDOM WITH THIS🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
I’ll buy it when it’s in stores. I LOVE PHYSICAL MEDIA
The best part about this is that the Mario 3 sprint sound is even covered during the transition to the SMB3 athletic theme
When the super star theme happened my jaw dropped
I actually started tearing up and losing it in my theater seat when I heard the Mario 3 athletic theme and saw Mario with a big goofy smile in the tanooki suit. It's cheesy to say, but this movie means so much to me
Literal fire
The soundtrack goes really hard!!!🔥
"the soundtrack is so good, you should buy it"
No duh! As if Bowser's Peaches song wasn't enough of a reason to buy it!!
King of the Koopas and Peaches hit hard
30 different written-by-God soundtracks in 29 seconds
It’s a shame part of the soundtrack was cut out of the film (and replaced with more recognizable songs for some reason). Mario fans were robbed of these remixes.
After reviewing the soundtrack, there’s a few parts that were composed before being cut in favor of the licensed songs. “King of the Koopas” the opening track when bowser attacks the penguins. When the penguins attack the koopas, there’s a brief section of hard rock that was replaced by the kill bill song. “World 1-1” was replaced by “Holding out for a Hero.” And “Driving Me Bananas” was replaced by “Take on Me”.
@@Heartland.Productions and Karts! was replaced by Thunderstruck
@@dis_inferno9173 Yes, that too. In my opinion the music replacement choices were all tolerable, except Take on Me. Drivin’ Me Bananas is too good to be cut out like that.
@@Heartland.Productions for me it's not tolerable. It's way better movie with og score.
We almost didn't get the Super Star theme at the end. Would have had to use another licensed song if that was the case.
Fun fact, this is the very first animated movie Brian composed.
That’s straight joy right there 0:10
He making banguers fr
OH GOOD HEAVENS I WOULD LIKE TO ASCEND TO THE STARS AND BACK LISTENING TO THIS ON REPEAT
Oh we making it out of Vanilla Dome with this one
They attention to detail is on spot. For example during this song the played the little “ready to fly” p theme before playing the super Mario 3 song segment.
jajaja está tocando el piano y suenan trompetas
This is quality music.
Why the hell did Nintendo commission 4 songs from the 80's, they have like 2000 songs
it was probably universals choice for the music as nintendo had brian and koji work on original music from the games
You think Nintendo was the one who did that?
This and Godzilla King of the monsters from 2019 have my favourite remakes of Legacy Soundtracks I just wish Ifukube could have been alive still to see it and Brian Tylers work on the 2023 Super Mario movie collaborating with Koji Kondo here made me appreciate his (Brians) work on the Transformers Prime Soundtrack and the Transformers Prime show itself even more than i already did and that show is one of the best animated shows of all time just like the 2023 Super Mario movie is one of the best animated films of all time imo
Edit: quick side note Kevin Micheal Richardson who voiced Bulkhead in Transformers Prime also voiced Kamek in the Super Mario Movie and seeing Brian Tylers name as the composer for the film in the end credits of the Super Mario Movie instantly made me think of Transformers Prime and made me love the film even more
banger noatalgic😭😭😭⭐️⭐️⭐️
🔥🔥
I love the combination of Mario Bros. 3 and Super Mario World! It’s my favorite part of the soundtrack!
I’m hoping Hollywood is finally realizing that when it comes to remakes and adaptations, bringing back the classic music is ALWAYS a good idea.
real
Fire
It was such a nice touch to add in a reference to the SpongeBob Patrick video
My favorite movie score so far
I love the Super Mario World athletic theme. I wish they did the whole theme.
The SNES Rainbow Road bit in Buckle Up.
That is all.
Jack black singing Peaches
This look like he doing smb3 bowser theme. SPICY THEME
will you review the movie bow that it's out
LOLLLLLLLLLLL
0:17 AM I CRAZY OR, CAN YOU SLIGHTLY HEAR THE SMB3 RUNNING SOUND?
Bap
Whats the music called
Super Midio bros the movie
You must be a Rotten Tomatoes stan
*ROTTEN TOMATOES STAN ALERT❗❗❗*
@@coolio822 hell no rotten tomatoes is so mentally ill, I just thought the movie was too short and cramped and the only scenes I remember are pointing at the screen and going "that's a reference 🤯🤯🤯" 💀
@@elitobin If you don’t like it, then why bother
@@coolio822 cause people are hyping it up like it's perfection, wasn't bad and definitely illuminations best movie but I'd rather watch violent night or something 💀
This song is the reason why I actually hate the score lol
Then why are you here?
@anonymouslucario285 cause I got the right to express how I feel just like you.
Why?
Nah, this sounds mid lmao
you're must be a rotten tomatoes stan lmao
@@tinxieyeah True
YOU'RE MID!
@@hecticabaldeon shut up :)
Nowhere near as mid as the Sonic movie soundtrack
We just need to say that was full of nostalgic moments and that they want us to know it let’s be clear that was one God-damn soundtrack .
