It seems many people who have issues with Chinese cars locally are mostly due to after sales service and parts availability. I hope Chinese car companies can address this issue as their recent offerings are quite compelling.
If BYD is able to ensure reliability, parts availability, and good customer service for this car, this will dominate the EV segment. At 1.5M, this is damn good deal 😊 With that said, I hope EV car reviews can someday add the battery life and costs of maintaining/ replacing them to help consumers make informed decisions when purchasing.

I’d like for you to try out the traffic jam assist at EDSA. This is definitely better value than the Corolla Cross and Yaris Cross and that’s saying much since I don’t really consider Chinese cars. But this would be the one if I would, since BYD cars are reputable from Australian journalists.

The only thing that is holding me to decide is the price of the blade battery. This is a high capacity battery and the price could be north of 750k. For comparison the battery of Corolla Cross is 300k and probably it can do EV mode for 10km only. Any info on the price of battery?
BYD's blade battery, made with lithium iron phosphate, can endure over 2000 charge cycles. If you fully charge and discharge it twice a week, it's good enough for you to drive for 20 years. Moreover, this car can run on both electricity and gasoline. By the time 20 years pass, you probably won't consider replacing the battery but you will buy a new car.

There have been news that BYD are decreasing their SRP, i hope this will happen in ph too, so many can enjoy this car.
