  • Hi guys! Thanks for clicking on this video! In todays video I wanna show you how you can propagate begonias from a single leaf cutting. Begonia propagation is an easy way to keep a little bit of summer all year long. Begonias are a favorite garden plant for the shaded area of the garden and because of their low light requirements.

Thanks for this. Was at Walmart earlier in the gardening section and a bunch of begonias were on the floor, looked like they had been broken off. I asked if I could have them and they told me have at it - they were whole stems with leaves and flowers.
Going to try this method to see if I can get them going again. They’re actually really lovely and I’d hate to see them die.

thank you soooo much. I have 9 beautiful Rieger Begonia leaves that I am propagating. Can't wait to watch the results. I'll check in later. ☺

This method worked for me. I stuck a leaf from my Valentino Pink begonia and it has produced two small leaves in 1.5 months.

Hi How often do you water begonias?

Begonia elatior I find must not be over watered. The others need more water.

Hi, I'm a beginner in gardening, may I ask . Do begonia need to pinch off in early stage to promote more branch. Or just let it be.

Я тоже начала недавно выращивать эту бегонию и хочу знать, надо ли прищипывать. Надеюсь, что нам ответят

Hi! Yes, if you want to make your bush looking more thick, you have to pinch it from time to time

Because the temperature was not warm enough. Next time don't use plastic bag.

I am having some success by putting cuttings in pearlite fill with water then drain to about 2cm. Then I stand in a fish tank with class cover.

Maybe using a plant covered in browning flowers wasn't such a clever idea...
