This was the best begonia propagation tutorial I have seen so far. You did an amazing job preparing it and having the "results" ready to be shown! Thank you!

Such a delightful teacher!! Your enthusiasm for creating new plants is obvious! Can’t wait to try some myself!!
Best video ever on propagating begonias!!!!
I love your tutorial of the begonias, so easy to understand, thank you so much for sharing!
You are so welcome!
Excellent begonia propogation video. You explained it so well. Thank you for showing exactly where to cut & the time lapse new growths. Enjoyed the one leaf separate tray way you showed. Especially enjoyed & surprised to see the one leaf in the pot & how many new shoots you got. Really cool to see how well it worked! Explaining the main veins very helpful to understand how begonias propagate. Love your sunny disposition as well. Thank you so much🥀🌷🥀🦋🐝
So nice to be appreciated..thanks Bridgette! And I wish you success in your propagation...just need to be patient and i don't get 100% success either.🤗🧡❤️💚
crazy that someone discovered you can do this!! so excited, just got my first begonia (i’ve had a hard time finding any) and i’m gonna prop
🤗❤️🍀 Diff begonias prop differently! Cane begonias mostly prop in water better.
Amazing job Irene! The baby begonias are so cute. I don’t have any begonias in my collection yet but I’m looking forward to it, their foliage is stunning. Thank you! 🌱🌿💕
Yes they are so amazing the foliage! Some are more fussy than others...I suggest cane begonias to start with...generally more hardy. Rex begonias I have killed lots🙈 Good luck!

You did an awesome job with the explanation.
Fantastic clear demonstration. Begonias are one of my favourite plants. I've had a Tiger Paws for 40 years which I've managed to keep alive. I've not had much success with other begonias and have never succeeded with leaf cuttings. I will try again.
Thank you! I have not herlard of tiger paws...will look this up!
damn 40 years ? thats long ,lol
This was so very helpful! You did so well and are si inspiring! Thank you so much! 💓
Thank you 💖😊😊
Thank you do much for your video. I've just gotten into the world of houseplants. For me the hardest thing is patience. I feel like I would want too take cuttlings or nurture and water them all the time😂. I had a very hard time too find easy to understand info about leaf cuttlings particulary begonias in my native language. And your video was super hands on and easy too follow.
Admired your collections. Thanks for the sharing. Very clearly demonstrated.. Thank you v much

So helpful! Thank you! I live your videos!
Neat explanation of begonia propagation, going to try the same way, thank you dear, doing a good job.
Great techniques and wonderful to see the success!
I absolutely love you for this omg
Hello Irene this new vids of yours😘😘😘 Super beautiful begonia collections love love it 🥰🥰🥰🥰
Thank you so much 🤗
Really great tutorial. Thank you. My question is, at what stage do you remove and then replant the small begonias?
I don't move props until it has given me a leaf or two. Plants will always prioritize roots over foliage, so it will essentially let you know.
Let's say when the new leafs are about the size of my big toe😁
You are lovely and the tutorial also, thank you.
You answered my questions. Love begonias
Amazing. .love from INDIA 🇮🇳 ♥
Wow I must try it out to propagate my begonia , the tiny plant that pop out really cute
Thank you so much Irene, I really really enjoyed watching you show us all how you propagate the Begonia Rex plants. I’m very very impressed by your channel and expertise. I’ve Subscribed and given you a thumbs up too
🥰🥰🥰 thank you so much!! 🙌
So enjoy your show.
I was in a panic as I accidentally took off the beautiful top of my elegant, elephant ear. Feeling so much better now, knowing I can salvage a great deal here. 👍Well done, my dear.
Ah...I don't think you can propagate those with leaves dear!!
Thank you .Wonderfully explained
They are all cute . With their leaves it is an eye catching plants. I have 7pots now and different varieties. However 1pot was drowned since itbis rainy in our place before for quite long.
wow i love it the way you propagate begonia
You are a good teacher. Your instructions are clear and the visuals perfect. I think begonias are stunningly beautiful but I'm not sure I am good at taking care of them. Maybe I can try and propagate one of the leaves of the small plant I have left. I'm thinking about it...
Thanks Karen! One can just try it out...I often prop begonias to create 'back-ups'😁
Beautiful begonia plants 👌👌👌
It is very informative so helpful thank you for showing us .
Clear and complete 👍👍👍
I love your video. I love begonia too and i want to know more about them as well thank you for making this video.

Very interesting thank you great I have no begonia collection but starting to collect
I love your videos! Thanks for such prompt replies! I have one more question about my angel leaf cane begonia. It looks healthy but hasn't bloomed this year after beautiful blooms last year. Can you advise please?
I love your victorious music when you were doing ur root reveal proving you have conquered the B. Maculata

Thanks for sharing. You have a nice heart. God bless. 🙏
Thank you! Bless you also Grace :)
That is a great idea with the watering .
Hi Irene.I'm Rose. I just want to know how do you use pafcal in propagating begonias? I bought the pafcal chips recently but I'm not sure how to use them. Do you just wet them, put the cuttings in the container with perlite? Do you add the B-1 liquid as well when using Pafcal?
In your experience does pafcal chips also work well in stem cuttings?
when propagating cuttings do you have to put them in a heating pad or put them in a lighted area?
Sorry i am a newbie and would like to learn more on how to propagate these plants. Thanks Irene! I follow & watch your show a lot! Love them.
Thank you for all your good information. 🌈🇺🇸🌹🙏❤️
Ive watched your videos on tropical garden. Its just so lovely. Now, why did I not think of that instead of going for flower garden and cacti which are harder to maintain.
Very clear, easy and practical. I just searched content on "Pafcal" chips but I find only item descriptions from product catalogs. Can you talk about that material in your next video? Is it a polymer? Rockwool? Can it serve as potting medium?
Thanks! Pafcal I use it a lot for rooting and also I've mixed it in with pumice, leca, perlite for some aroids. I would not use it 100%. I think it is made from some PU and other organic material (I heard including beer hop??). It is the result of R&D of a beer company Suntory...who makes Asahi :). Try google 'pafcal' and 'suntory'
Awesome video, thank you!
Wow amazing propagation mam Irene. Hope we have here in the Philippines the propagation powder or the B 1 you said. God bless your beautiful 😍😍😍 and rare begonia the first one you example i dont see here in my place or even in the plants for sale here 🙄 garden.
Thanks Jeezer! You can search for "rooting powder"...am sure this is available over there too!
Thanks! I’m new to gardening and just bought some begonias, so I’ll try propagating them. UPDATE: I have propagated two leaves and now have little plantlets on them. How big do they need to be to pot them out?
ooh brave to start w Begonias - sometimes tricky! But we learn. Sending begonia blessings across to you!
Both helpful and interesting. Cutting out the center of the leaf was new to me - it will be fun to try. I was glad to see the cane begonia tried two ways (stem and leaf). What about other begonia types such as rhizomatous? Can all begonia types be propagated from leaves? Thanks very much.
Usually the cane begonia cannot be propagated from leaves but the begonia irianjaya seems to be am exception
Good tutorial., thank you!
