😊 Hey guys! We created the Chase Car channel to give viewers a broad overview of the upcoming new cars from the top car manufacturers. We are huge fans of pickup trucks of all sizes: compact, mid-size and full-size trucks. So mostly, we will cover new upcoming trucks, but besides that, here you can find a lot of content about new sedans and SUVs too.
The Electric Vehicle wave sooner or later will become huge, so this type of content might appear on this channel from time to time. But as we are still on the way to becoming fully electrical, we mostly cover fossil cars from many amazing brands.

🏆Should FORD Shut Down All EV Production?🤔
🔴The Real Reason EV Sales Are Falling WATCH HERE 👉ruclips.net/video/FxZD-9VTwxA/видео.html
Obviously they can’t sell what they have built already so what’s the point in building more ???
The reason why the dealers don't want to sell EV's is because they don't sell.
Service liabilites
@@MelodyMan69 And the fact no one wants them, double whammy
True
Get woke, go broke FORD!
Seems like they got the point pretty quickly. It's OK to produce a certain amount and perfect them, but at least FORD offers a great array of Hybrids. They're 2nd behind Toyota for Hybrids.
@@bmw803 Yeah but they discontinued all the good cars like focus taurus, crown vic, etc.
@BuddyTheWolfYT Crown Vic was VERY outdated. I asked once at my local Ford STEALER. Why discontinue a car that is so well made and so solid? I was told it's all about those STOOPID regulations. The car would need so many modifications to meet today's standards, it's easier and quicker to re engineer a new car from scratch.
Electric vehicles are a joke
90% of EVs are still on the road...the other 10% actually made it home. 😀
They definitely have their pitfalls. I own a 2023 Bolt EUV, but mainly use it for commuting. Saves me LOTS of $$$ in Gas. But, if I'm going on a distance trip, we use our VW Atlas. I ain't sitting around at chargers. That's if they work at all.
How can someone force you to sell something you will lose money on. Tell the government to mind their own business . Just build reliable vehicles at a fair cost, and you will make money!!
It is amazing how the government actually thinks it is possible to mandate the purchase of something that people don’t want to buy.
@@scottferris6309 Something needs to be done about the government mandates now !! We the people are running out of time!! The new generation will not be able to afford anything in the near future!!! This is not what I had planned for my grand children!! I PERSONALLY can not see a future????
Strict EPA Cafe standards began when Obama was president. He came in with John Kerry preaching about global warming/climate change. They offered billions in subsidies and tax credits. When the economy tanks, people don’t care about these things, they need to keep a roof over their heads, repossession man off their backs and food on the table.
Spot on. Queen Mary at GM might be publicly saying how GM is gonna commit to EVs, but in the background they're focused on ICE. They redesigned the Chevy Trax and it's VERY AFFORDABLE. And they sell like hotcakes. They did that redesign quicker than the EV equinox that's dragging.
Let's not forget insurance is twice the price and tires cost more also.
Depends on the model. My 2023 BOLt EUv is 100 bucks more per year vs my 2013 TDI Jetta I had before.
Not to mention your homeowners insurance will go up....IF they will cover you....and more and more places are banning them....
Evs are not the future
EVs are jus a box of problems on 4 wheels.
With a resale value of $0.
EVs were never hot stuff. They always sucked from Day 1.
It's the media that made lots of noise out of hot air. I own a BOLT EUV, because it's the most economical route. Had a Jetta TDI before and fuel was killing me. BUT, I still would rather have my Diesel engine.
All these Ford dealers should rebrand as Mazda dealers.
Ford better start making ICE units now because i like every American will not buy any EV gas only pump and go.!!!
They're offering many Hybrid options and they sell like hotcakes. Mach E and Lightning should be canceled. Jim Farley should have told Sleepy Joe to out on his PJs and go to sleep.
Good New: the CEO will makes over 20 million dollars this year.
He can afford to buy a $ 100,000 Ford truck.
Well, that is good news! I thought the dealers were using them as planters or something.
but he ain't spending it on his hairpiece....that thing looks like it came straight from a pony.
Ford should make him buy 20 a year for family and friends! He will become very lonely very soon! 😅
No sympathy for dealers
Why anybody would want these heavy polluting boat anchors is beyond me.
It should be called Mock E😂😂😂
Nice one 🤣🤣🤣
EVs DON'T WORK IN COLD WEATHER....TOO MANY DANGEROUS/EXPENSIVE METALS NECESSARY FOR BATTERY 🔋.
I have a 2023 BOLT EUV and it works very well in winter. Push start and get heat in 90 seconds. The only issue is range loss. If you drive less than that range limit, it's a non issue. they don't suit everyone, so that why Politicians need to keep their noses out of the auto industry.
Why would i buy an expensive EV when the price of electric in my area is 20 cent per kilowatt. I can get a hybrid for less price and get just as good mpg per price as an EV. Trust me, electric price will go up just like gas. If the electric grid is being overload then the electric company will increase the price.
The EV mustang was the death of ford...what were they thinking?
my dealership JUST sold there last 2022 mache e that has been sitting on the lot since we got it in 2022....sales manager held a party for the dealership to celebrate and said were not getting any more ev's unless there all pre sold, NO MORE STOCK!
In 2021 I purposely put in an order for my Cadillac. Because I didn't want an EV. Due to the parts shortages, my order got canceled.
I tried to reorder a 2022 Cadillac, but my dealership told GM to stick it. They were not going to go electric like GM is pushing.
GM, are you listening? Ford owners don't want EV vehicles. What makes you think the drivers of GM vehicles want? Oh yeah, let me guess. EV. Right...
EVs design needs a major re-think. If the 'goal' is to truly move away from fossil fuel then the plan should be (in my way of thinking) to produce simple, low cost, easy to repair vehicles. Vehicles with well documented 'parts lists', repair manuals. Designs that don't change every month.
Do away with 'expensive add-ons' like self driving, multi-motor, rear wheel steering, drive by wire,
electronic doors, heated seats, multi media options.... concentrate on a very good basic design.
They make great short distance daily commuting vehicles. $60 - $100k luxury all-purpose vehicles was a stupid mistake.
This is to plan, get rid of dealers to sell direct
At least dealers won’t go broke like ford will …
This is a rehash of the same story a few weeks ago.
EV’s 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Dealers are suffering? Too bad, so sad.
What a debacle ..
Just don’t buy them and they go away…..
If they can fix the battery replacement cost, and ease of serviceability of EVs. They might be viable as a long term product to own. At the moment they are like smartphone on wheels, it's cheaper to replace than try to fix an EV. I'm not sure if manufacturers motivated to fix this though, there's a lot of profit in nickel and diming consumers.
Or they can wait until they get flattened by Toyota's Hydrogen vehicles.
5/7/24....THERE IS NO INFRASTRUCTURE OF CHARGERS 🔌 SO PPL CAN FIND A CHARGER/ STOP/CHARGE FOR GOODNESS KNOWS HOW LONG/LEAVE ON SEARCH 🔎 FOR NEXT CHARGER STATION!
You need to make a quarter million vehicles each year to break even. BYD and Tesla make money on each car - because of economies of scale.
If you only produce 73,000 EVs a year you will never be able to pay for the factory. And they are second behind Tesla.
This is why it costs Tesla $30k to manufacture a vehicle and it costs Ford $130,000. Tesla and BYD both sold around 1.85 million units each.
just the fact the f150 loses so much range when towing or hauling a load is a nonstarter, not even getting to the price
EV'S WORTHLESS
Correct ✅
A vehicle not fit for purpose IS worthless
I conclude the failure to sell EVs has been placed on the shoulders of the dealers. The top Ford managers could not possibly blame themselves for mass producing EVs that are significantly more expensive than the mid priced gasoline cars that have been the Apple-pie staple product for the last century.
I've seen a total of two new Mustang Mach E's on the road in the area I drive, which is about an 8th of the area of the State, in the last six months.
Meanwhile, over 50 new standard Mustangs in the same time and area.
Likely more, as I stopped counting.
At the same time, over 100 Broncos.
No one wants the Mach E.
That's all you need to know.
You left out the customer has been betrayed. From "market adjustment" markups to the rapid decline in resale value doesn't inspire consumer confidence.
They should have never named the EV “Mustang”.
EVs require big infrastructure to bring electricity to all the chargers...who would implement that??Only place where EVs may make sense are big cities to reduce noise and pollution
Happening in the uk these EV duds cannot even reach their 22% mandate sales figures. And guess what Ford are starting to restrict ICE cars or pull out of the UK all together, don’t blame them.
The supply chain has recovered? For whom? For ICE vehicles, we’re seeing slight improvements for parts availability over 2021. However, the demand for parts has increased. Customers cannot afford a regular vehicle much less an overpriced EV. Customers have priorities and global warming isn’t one of them. They’re keeping their older cars longer and instead of the cheap Chinese knock off parts, many are choosing to use OEM parts. The UAW strike in late 2023 didn’t help domestic car production in the US. We’re seeing the price of parts increased 20-30% more from 1 year ago.
Big gov't incentives messed up the market. A whole lot of tax payer money went into subsidizing early adopters 2nd/3rd toy car. Ford read this as a structural change, but it was not.
When Henry Ford's ubiquitous Model T was falling behind Chevrolet after 19 years of production, "Ford had a better idea". He would open Ford dealerships in pairs within sight of each other. Then by cutthroat Darwinism he'd cut off the franchise of the weaker man. His son said it would be disloyal to the dealers who had built Ford. He convinced his father to engineer a complete new engine -- which Henry Ford named the Model A because it was a complete new start.
So in a way it's a Ford tradition.
Good on ford for cutting out dealers. They deserve it after the last few years.
100% market adjustment just because the dealers could.....karma
If there was no waiting time to charge and more range and it works in the cold better and repair costs less… people would buy them…. Gas power is better all the way around….
Maybe a 'Go fund me' to help dealers out? 🤔
Will somebody please think of the sleazy car sales men!
Seriously, dealerships are I gigantic scam that makes your cars several thousand dollars more expensive than it needs to be. Dealers hating EVs is a plus for EVs.
How do you figure that
Switching to an online sales model like Tesla or other EV startups, will save people money and stop sales people from trying spend more money than they can realistically afford.
@@edouglasrochemost people like to go to a place that's experts on the particular type of vehicle they want and take the cars they choose for a test drive. Online purchases are a pain if you are not happy with your decision. Becomes a real hassle trying to return it and getting the financial situation settled can take months
So trust the experts. I seems to remember that going very wrong during a certain global pandemic we had.
But seriously dealership sales men are not your friend, they are just trying to get their commission. And you don’t need dealerships for all that. Stuff plenty of car reviewers, places to test drive and compare different specs without paying thousands of dollars more to deal with aggressive sales men and hidden additional price.
@@edouglasroche where can a person just test drive vehicles? I was being nice at calling them experts lmao. They just have people that memorized the sales brochures and hire mechanics that certified on 10-20 year old cars. I was told I needed a particular certification to get our shop on a particular list. The certification was literally on a discontinued car from a company that no longer existed. Dealers are selling cars their technicians aren't qualified to work on. When a new software or proprietary system comes out, and we have to send it to the dealer, doesn't matter what one, it takes a week or two to get it back and most of the time they can't figure it out. Then the insurance company gives us the ok to call our specialist but he charges crazy prices. He lives in classes and hacks automotive systems all day. I asked him why he charges so much. His answe was "Those classes ain't cheap, and my time is valuable."
2 of my neighbors purchased cars from the internet thinking it was cool and convenient. Neither was happy with the purchase they thought was awesome. One tried to send his back after a week and the other after about 3 weeks. Took a good while for them to be picked up and one is still fighting for their down payment back. It's been 2 years.
Do what you want, I don't care. Not my money, car,or time. Knock yourself out
There going do this till all dealer are gone.
Ford won't be the only dealerships in trouble with EVs. Stocking up with unwanted items is a really really bad idea.
Ford needs to bring back low-cost gas cars.
. 2:54 I knew the USA government would back down on their ambitious *"All EV Plan"* by 2030 . 😅
Not too many people can afford a EV, theres no infrastructure, so where do you take the EV for service? Wheres the electricity coming from?
I don’t even want to buy a new gasoline car with all this safety electronic crap they stuff in it. I want a car that has nothing in it, not even electric windows.
You and me both! Wind up windows, doors that lock with a button on the inside and a key on the outside, parking assist that goes CRUNCH when you screw up and alarms that blink on the dash and not squeal in your ear! Heaven on earth!😅
Sounds like the Buick dealers.
Truthfully, mes amis, ALL EV'S, vehicles of a Fool's Paradise, are but a fanciful dream...a Wet Dream.
Yay🤗
You can’t be forced to buy …. Electric vehicles might be the only choice to buy at some point … you still don’t need to buy one…. I’ll buy horses and a wagon before I buy one….
FJB and his Electric car
FORD: Found On Road Dead!.....
This story is brought to you by the oil companies. I work for several dealerships and EV’s cell now more than gas cars. there is no turning back to 150-year-old technology
Plain. Junk.
Ford must know that BYD will rule the EV market in less then 20 years . And this is why BYD is building a mega plant in Mexico and also a mega plant in South America .
If only they could stop em catching on fire 🔥
🍿 love watching this self made shitshow go down … Go Woke, ect . . .
Ev joke
CHRIS FARLEY NEEDS TO RESIGN FROM FORD, SHOCKED HE IS STILL RUNNING THE PLACE, LOL, WHAT A JOKE
If only Henry Ford's great grandson Billy Boy junior would take a look into Henry's garage just down the street from Ford World Headquarters, and see the all electric car built by Thomas Edison gathering nothing but dust. Thomas Edison gave Henry's wife Clara a brand new "Edison" electric car. There are no known photos showing Clara actually sitting in the custom electric vehicle built by her husband's best friend.
If you think it's really hard to find EV charging stations in our world today, guess how hard it was to find EV charging stations in the 1920's. All EV vehicles are just dust collectors. This video clearly shows that Ford is a 4 letter word. It starts with letter "F", but doesn't end in the letter "D".
You can easily fill in the blanks to clearly redefine what Ford really is. It's one big
colossal F#*×.😂
