  • I was experimenting with some homemade motors using AA batteries and neodymium magnets. It was super simple and a lot of fun. It could be a good science fair project. Warning, do not puncture the battery. For a video blooper clip on why not, stay turned till the end of the video. Enjoy.

    Which wire did u use for the homopolar motor..

      Its been a while since I did this project but I believe I used brass wire. You could also use copper wire. You have to remember to scrap and protective coating off before using if it has it on there. Often that is the case.
