Hey what's up Noti Squad?! Welcome to December! For planning purposes, we're posting a video every single day from now until the end of the year. 🏆 Should be one crazy ride so hang on! 😜🤘
when a conductor passes through a magnetic field in induces a current in the conductor and when a current flows through a conductor in induces a magnetic field
please make a video of modified dynamo of tamiya (a toy race car from let's go anime) .. change the the magnet and copper wires of the dynamo to a strong magnet and slightly thick (i don't know if the western country have number for copper wires but colleague said the number you need to use is number 22) and the result will be amazing blazing speed of tamiya .. btw im from the philippines .. im very sorry for my grammar .. love you lots from the philippines ,, power to you guys
+Score Moore Erhm....no. You *_use_* energy (from the battery) to create the magnetic field that causes the movement. You can't get surplus energy from that.
I think it would prove to be a pretty fun video to see if you can put together a DIY Magnetic Particle Inspection kit, since you already have batteries and magnets laying around. Something ferrous from the home forge should have plenty of bubbles and cracks to detect after you sand or grind the outside somewhat smooth.
TheScientistLRS Well... Depends on the type of battery... A lithium battery may start burning while a carbon-zinc-battery wouldn't be really dangerous.
I loved the vid!!! You demonstrated perfectly! And you gave accurate information! And that thinly insulated wire is called msgnet wire. For short. But keep it up with your videos!!!
One of the neat things about when the battery started to spin, I immediately thought of the interpole coils in a DC motor. They're used to offset the rotation of the magnetic fields from the armature rotating.
Nate, if you make a longer coil of copper wire and place the battery inside, but keep hold of it for a moment while you connect both ends of the coil together to form a circular tube. When you let go of the battery it should keep going round and round the tube on a continuous loop. Sorr I'm not great at explaining things, so I hope that makes sence lol. Hope you get to try it someday as it really is a cool little trick. All the best and keep up the great work all, Diane x
Nate, make the copper coil a lot longer, put the "train" inside and join the ends of the coil together. The train will run in a circle in an endless loop!
The first experiment with the foil and magnets also works with copper tubing. if you get a big copper tube and a very strong magnet, you get the same properties and if im correct, it moves slower. its really cool.
Grant. i am really starting to enjoy your helper. these small fun projects are enjoyable to watch. i cant wait to see his on camera persona become less quirky. overall tho, great addition
What would happen if you place the motor you first showed us into water, would it still turn and if so if you place it at an angle on some kind of a small floating structure could you use it as a form of a turbine that pushes the floating object?
@@mrpanda2655 no, pure water does not conduct electricity. But, it is hard to find pure water. Most water, including tap water, contains salts and minerals that do allow electricity to flow. Never the less, the statement, "water conducts electricity" is false.
Pretty cool demo, TKOR. I hadn't seen the aluminum foil roll trick before. One small criticism at 4:55 - that's not inertia causing the counter-rotation of the battery and magnet. That's the equal-and-opposite force there. The electric and magnetic fields' interaction causes a torque on the wire (source of the electric field), which means there's an opposite torque on the source of the magnetic field.
I did all of these in my high school Physics class! Also the batteries can get very hot and the outer coating of the battery can peel itself off. Personal experience, and I would recommend letting the battery rest after a little use.
Thank you this will help me make generators to power my cabin that I make from water turbines from some washing machine motors I found in an abandoed boys out camp Basic electronics engineering fundamentals you saved the day man. Scribed:)

magnificent video
when a conductor passes through a magnetic field in induces a current in the conductor
and when a current flows through a conductor in induces a magnetic field
You're gonna be busy this whole month. Haha
The King of Random i found out that a candle emitted a electromagnetic wave. with a photovoltaic candle holder you can get electricity too 🤗

I still miss Grant but mad respect to this guy for keeping up despite the negative comments.
Lord Fizzlebeef what happened to grant?
He had a break and went on holiday
+sam neale how long is his holiday ffs
agreed, I also liked how grant used to explain how things worked, now we just geta hilarious close up of nates face as he says "MAGNETS"
Th only reason he keeps going is because he doesn't look at the comments grant does that stuff
“Hit it lightly with a hammer”, *BANG BANG BANG BANG*
I was thinking that
You made this so upbeat and fun and I learned a lot too. Cool and thought provoking AF, cheers.
I was waiting for this type of video!!!!
Job well done Nate! :)
Great video on the force of electromagnetism
k
Younge ey George a matinee
electricity and magnetism*
electromagnetism is just electricity
Great job Nate. Bring out more projects. This is a great lesson and inspirations for our sedenatry children and today's TV Cartoon headed kids.
🤓
I love how entertaining you explain science to us, you guys are amazing
Nate... Respect..... Even the negative comments you're still going....... Respect Bro
Autological Gaming he’s great everyone else is just afraid of change and like stuff to stay the same FOREVER
Nate is getting better and better! thumbs up!
Marcus Wiedner He is learning, which is why I call him the true prince of random
I love playing with magnets and am very interested in electro magnetism and motors...watching this stuff never ceases to amaze me...very cool stuff
I want to do these! They look like so much fun, and so doable!
You should take the last project and make it super long. Like a giant magnet train track
And make it a loop
Young stimpy or just made a circle for infinity turn
Young stimpy using that method he should be able to generate electric current to power something else amazing idea.
+Score Moore Erhm....no.
You *_use_* energy (from the battery) to create the magnetic field that causes the movement.
You can't get surplus energy from that.
MGC # it technically wont go forever though so ye. Maybe the kinda infinite circle?
I’m glad I found this channel
Welcome to the channel
You only just found it
It was better a little while ago.SMFH what happened
Cool. I liked the battery with magnets on both sides travelling through a coil. Also how it slows down in a tube.
New experiment, what happens if you hit the battery with the nail and hammer?
You end up with a dead battery
And a bunch of dangerous chemicals
TheScientistLRS Well... Depends on the type of battery... A lithium battery may start burning while a carbon-zinc-battery wouldn't be really dangerous.
one word, *"KABOOOOMMMM!"*
PNoYxFlames kipkay made a vid on what's inside them
i like nate so much he just doubles the fun.
btw great and interesting video
Omg you are so awesome! I love how excited u get! I love magnets too!
This was a great video. One of your best ever Nate.
Dude Nate is as good as grant
(But still can't beat the legend)
It's nice how he is still motivated even after all the we want grant back comments
Vansh Kasturi Don't search *Granny norma*
I warned you..
Vansh Kasturi don't search granny norma
Dragon Claw but why
BrianHPlayz plz explain
Why?
This is why I became an electronics engineer, there is something mesmerising and fascinating about electric motors. Fantastic video.
That's great stuff you're working on that demonstrates science!
I loved the vid!!! You demonstrated perfectly! And you gave accurate information! And that thinly insulated wire is called msgnet wire. For short. But keep it up with your videos!!!
Make a large copper coil train!
Timo van Drecht make one that forms a loop
john Hauswirth that's the point
What you think is hyperloop project?
Timo van Drecht i wonder if you can create an Faraday charger connected to a super compacitor as the magnets ride through the coil in a circle?
Theemoow ###
Please make a circle "track" with a copper coil so the magnet "train" can run through the copper coil endlessly.
Chbv till The battery dies
Yeah I actually wanted to ask them
This episode was awesome!!! I'm gonna try them all!!
That is my favorite video EVE by you guys. Probably my favorite on youtube!!!!! Please make sequel to this video.
Cool simple and "Random" stuff
I Love Nate! 😄❤️❤️
“And lightly tap the nail, I need to be careful” *Starts hitting nail like he’s framing a house*
Could you guys try marking a roller coaster with the copper coil. Like if you agree
@Crafty you're allowed now
Do it!
This is perfect with both grant and Nate uploading.
Devak Manappatty bruh tou have the same lic as my friends channel and my discord logo
Try looping the coil for making the battery train run infinitely. ( Well until the battery dies)
There is a reason why I am subbed and like every video 👍🏼 keep it up King Of Random
Thank you for sharing this cool experiments. 🙏🙏
Make a train of copper coil around the whole room to make a mini battery train
and loop it so dth it goes on and on and on
itll get very hot.
I agree
that's a lot of copper, it will be expensive
Okay
This video was magnificent
Don't you mean *MAGNET*ficent

DO IT PLZ!
I love these!!
Make more!!!
Cool... I found these to through some fun experiments.
The copper coil is too short. Make one at least 4' long, and connect the ends, so the battery-train goes around in endless circles!
Double Dare Fan i was thinking of this
Love you Grant and Nate
We love whom Grant loves.😍😍😍😍
2:22 ... Did Nate just morph into Hank Green for a second?! "MAGNETS!"
lol I can't unsee it now, Nate is officially the third Green brother!
“Divot”. This is our favourite word. Thank you for using it.
Those are some really cool tricks
No these are real
Cod box
I LOVE NATE AND GRANT YOU GUYS ARE AWSOME

OH , WOW THIS IS FUN ,,,I LOVE THIS ..THANK YOU
Nate s intense look 2:21
Thanks Nate I learn a lot
learning like this is so much fun 😍😍
Grant. i am really starting to enjoy your helper. these small fun projects are enjoyable to watch. i cant wait to see his on camera persona become less quirky. overall tho, great addition
Wow Nate great.I really appreciate your hard work
Love magnets!
Andre me to
I made a coil around the tube and connected it into xlr intake on my preamp, weird sound when magnets go through, and added effect😁
What would happen if you place the motor you first showed us into water, would it still turn and if so if you place it at an angle on some kind of a small floating structure could you use it as a form of a turbine that pushes the floating object?
High speed low torque
But yet you don't know water conducts electricity
I think it would only float north.
@@mrpanda2655 no, pure water does not conduct electricity. But, it is hard to find pure water. Most water, including tap water, contains salts and minerals that do allow electricity to flow. Never the less, the statement, "water conducts electricity" is false.
This video really *_attracted_* me because I love magnets
BEST RUclipsRS EVER
Can I have a free piece of MERCH ❤️ please
Really Cool ! I would certainly make it for my children if I had children...

Nice video
My fav king of random vid is proto putty
You should check out the one on making HHO gas from water. Even the mythbusters used that as a starting design in one of their vids.
mike mclaughlin hmm OK then
red hot nickle ball did it first!
Andre that was the first video I ever saw from them
Nice i enjoy that!😀😃
I love how windy landscape is in the background
Awesome video Nate
I know what my nephew's are getting for Christmas. 🎄🎁🎅
Don't get them magnets..
who buys their nephew a magnet for christmas
aha yes! Great choice👍🏽 might do the same for my brother.
your actually gonna be the worst uncle
Tim Michaels you would be a great uncle
You are a dork but king ... respect man
How could anyone not like this video? magnets are so fun
Nate: "I need to be careful not to stab the battery"
Also Nate: *Smashing battery with a nail and a hammer*
Quote of the year Nate from The King Of Random “MAGNETS!”
I did all of these in my high school Physics class! Also the batteries can get very hot and the outer coating of the battery can peel itself off. Personal experience, and I would recommend letting the battery rest after a little use.
You've got like the best reflexes ever.
Now we have started loving Nate as Grant. Like for Nate!
Kushagra Shrivastava
Elevator should be like that so if it free-fall due to accident, it will fall slowly
This is why I've been subscribed for a year and a half
Thank you this will help me make generators to power my cabin that I make from water turbines from some washing machine motors I found in an abandoed boys out camp Basic electronics engineering fundamentals you saved the day man. Scribed:)
This video just became 1-year old today! Happy birthday!!!!
You should still put grant in videos even though Nate’s not bad
Hey I did the first one as a school science project on it's really cool especially with the copper pipe
This is the coolest idea
Make a loop of the copper wire so that it would make an endless magnet train!
Nate, you look pretty *attractive* in this video.
BADUM TSS
Hassan DM I feel like dying
I see watt u did there
*P*
*U*
great work man
the ad before that video was amazing, it was a vivint smart home and it was hilarious
Run electric trains vertically
a-lpha of Zeldaforme Gaming he should make it go round and round
I was chilling out watching this then Nate said "That's crazy. MAGNETS!" and it scared me. Omg
I would love to see you guys make something using these motors
amazing video !!
Can you make massive versions of these projects!
Nate we really like you being in this videos
Oh my gosh I got a heart 😍😍
No i dont
Roeland van der Zwet then f you
No
No we dont
I love🔋 king of random🔋 keep it up kor y'all rock👍👍
hungkong donkybong no
SolarianYT no what?
Thanks for returning to your roots
king of random 💪 could u please show a way to use the motors effectively?😞💪💜
Captain Modz why the emojis
Where's Nate?
Oh, there he is.... good.
omg thanks so mutch this helped whith my science fair project!!
This is awesome
