Guardsman Wilgris made his way along the mud coated krieg trench trying to avoid massive puddles when he could and pushing past other guardsmen making their own ways in different directions. The planet Chaphron had been fought over for the last twenty years. In what was initially to be believed as a swift victory for the imperium had escalated into a drawn out conflict with neither the heretics nor the imperium making any progress. Wilgris was working his way to the back of the line where the 21st kriegan artillery regiment was ready and waiting to bring the wrath of the emperor down upon the traitors. Other artillery regiments had already begun and far off in the distance their rain of fire could be heard. Wilgris wiped the lenses of his gas mask with an oily rag before continuing on his way. Eventually he made it to the 21st's position. The bombardier turned towards him with furious intent. Wilgris stood to attention and snapped off a tired salute before holding out a piece of paper. The toxic atmosphere on Chaphron was so corrosive that it could cause a vox caster to malfunction in seconds so any and all communication had to be made via a runner. The bombardier snatched the coordinates out of Wilgris' hand and immediately started barking orders to his gunners. Wilgris saluted again and turned back the way he came to continue his duties. Seconds later the air became alive with the screeching of earthshaker cannons as the bombardment increased in earnest. The emperors judgement had come...
I wish there were low frequency sounds. You know, like the ones that bomb explosion give a feeling in your whole body, if you ever heard real explosions
Your heresy has been reported civilian. Mercifully you will be submitted to re-eductation campaigns on the front line. Your service begins now. Welcome to the Guard.
I can almost smell the gunpowder in the air, the stagnant stench of the trenches wafting through the blasted landscape, and hear the distant booms of artilleries firing and the feeling of thuds as their shells land on it's targets. Man, Vraks sure is a cozy place this time of the year!
"I can hear Daemons calling and chittering in the distance. Las-Fire and Boltgun Rounds fly overhead. Our battalion is being ordered to move up to the enemy trench lines. We are being supported by Basilisk Artillery, To give us time to close the distance and engage the enemy. I can hear men charging to their death, the sounds of the commisars executing deserters. I hear our Platoon Leader and commisar give the order no guardsman want's to hear: "FIX BAYONETS!" They will call us to move forward soon. I am not sure I...that WE...will survive. In the event I don't...It was an honor to serve Humanity. Ave Imperator." - Message ends. Private Log of Guardsman Ender archived. P.S I'm aware I may sound nerdy or edgy or cliche. I don't care. Reminds me of the Siege of Derondii. It was bombarded by the Death Korps of Krieg for 5 years before they finally surrendered. Then they shelled it for 3 more years until the hive was completely demolished. They continued for two more years until is was pounded to ash. Ave Imperator, gloria in excelsis terra.

If you think it to odd that this soothes you. Note that these sounds are reminiscent of storms. With the crash of lightening, the pitter of heavy rain, the flooding of rivers, and the falling of trees. Taking the place of thundering shells of artillery, relentless bullits, the whoosh of fast projectiles, and crashing explosions. All of which far beyond where you think they can hurt you.

Hey, when is your game launching? Please keep us updated.
This is just what I wanted for so long. Thank you for this.
Edit: I collect battle ambiances. And this one is almost perfect for a future war that is not filled with pew pew lasers to the brim. Also, 40k, nuff said.
Have you found any Battletech battle ambiances? Battletech has Pew-Pew lasers, artificial lightning bolt particle cannons, the quivering hum of gauss rifles (as in 'projectile suspended a magnetic field and then thrown at Mach 5' gauss), the roar of multiple missile salvos, the clatter of autocannon, the linoleum ripping as machineguns (all MGs in Battletech are in gattling configuration, .50cal on up but usually 20mm) tear through infantry, caseless automatics filling the air with lead, artillery thundering across the fields of battle...
Aaron Neumann, as a matter of fact I did not, though it sounds like no brainer. Maybe you have some video links lying around to share?)
@@everythingsgonnabealright8888 I'm asking you because I'm trying to find them because they sound the best equivalent to the battle ambiance of a setting I'm working on...
Aaron Neumann, oh, well, miscommunication have taken place X)
No, as I said, sadly I did not find anything Battletech related. Anything that I heard, for example, some background battle sounds in Tex Talks Battletech that pop up from time to time, I’m almost sure were tailor made by the editor himself from the weapon sounds from games of the setting. Sad really, but I’ll keep looking.
I wish this was longer tho so it would last a whole game!
10 tabs of distant battle ambience and Apocalypse Ambience, feels like a true apocalypse with the sounds you hear. xD
Not bad.
@@TheZombieman87 it ain't much but thank you it means Alot x
@@redroseproductions4688 Its very similar to my style of writing.
@@TheZombieman87 I'm sure yours has abit more punch and interest than my own lol
@@redroseproductions4688 I like to think so.
The nursery rhyme of Armageddon. Bliss.
Finally, ambient sound from.winter assault i waited for this one for years :)
Girls: I just love listening to nature sounds when I sleep.
Boys: [Literal war]
this is sisters of battle erasure
@@dsch0 **Sounds of literal churches dropping from low orbit intensify**
you mean BOYZ?!
There is nothing more natural than war......
Bruh
Open up a couple more tabs and it sounds glorious :>
200 IQ move
Big Brain... Also try setting them to different volumes.
I have ten of them open each on loop playing at different intervals
Change the playback speed on them as well, it's adds depth.
I wish there were low frequency sounds. You know, like the ones that bomb explosion give a feeling in your whole body, if you ever heard real explosions
This is the background to my next 'i cant work today' call . . . . . .
"Work quotas must be met, despite alien incursion. Delinquency is an affront to the Machine God."
Ave Imperator."
- Message ends. Private Log of Guardsman Ender archived.
P.S I'm aware I may sound nerdy or edgy or cliche. I don't care. I adore 40k and "nerd out." Proudly.
Clearly you must be a Cadian. A true Krieg Guardsman would never see a commissar shoot a Guardsman. They'd all be too busy trying to out run each other to get to grips with he enemy
Outstanding
Classic cadian
You do the Emperor proud, guardsman!
FOR THE GREATER GOOD!
I love tau and I personally that if tau and imperium would set aside their differences, they could team up with eldar and destroy chaos
You don't know hell until you've lived through Vraks.
Wrong. You don't know hell until you've lived on the norther front of Vraks.
Eight heretics disliked this masterpiece. *angry gas mask noises*
73 now. Do somthin bout it!
Krieg Lord Commissar here to purge the 75 heretics

Guardsman ndlovu stomach turned with anxiety and dread as he climbed out of his shared dugout and into the 11th battalions trench, the steady rainfall made the floor a sea of mud. The rumbling of artillery in the distance and the barking of his superiors filled his ears, another day on vraks.
First time ever writing something :) Ik it’s bad but hope it adds something to this video
Its actually not bad. :)
I have read worse.
Now, fix bayonets.
Пиши ещё, у тебя хорошо получается!❤
When you didnt know you really missed something in your life, and you find this and realise that you did. Awesome, thanks!
Just finished a field op, falling asleep to rotor wings, small arms fire, and artillery barrages. It feels so much more different when you sense the actual vibrations.
Like to put this on while reading the Gaunts Ghost books. I imagine I'm some poor guardsman who's portion of the front is quiet. Just reading some commissariat approved material, waiting for the next battle.
Damn that's pretty wholesome tbh.
He's in the rear maintenance trenches, getting a tech priest assistant to perform repair rites on his malfunctioning lasgun.
Nothing beats taking tests while listening to the sweet sound of artillery fire.
Who else is listening to this as a way to desensitize themselves to the sounds of the coming Collapse?
Baby steps baby steps.... Wait until you are ready to take "distant" out. Then you will be ready for winter 2020.
Huh?! 🤨
Ready for the shit Biden and China are gonna bring? Leftists have been the antagonist for centuries of history, get ready for more of the same.

When it rocks your body and you feel the heat is when it's different
I can't relax to this! The battle sounds too far away for me to *FIX BAYONETS!*
You can adjust the intensity by opening more tabs playing the same sound... I have 8 playing right now and it is starting to sound closer and lot more intense. 1 tab alone is so relaxing ;)
@@a64738 I've got 12, but for some reason my whole room is shaking at random points. Hm, probably just the bass.
Props to whoever thought of this, never knew I needed it
I fall asleep to thunder and I tried artillery and war sounds years ago and I passed out within a few minutes. THIS is awesome !
This is a great track to have on in the background during game night.
I don't know what our ancestors would say if they knew some of us go to sleep listening to this...
This really reminds me of the first handful of missions in Killzone 1
Fall asleep with nothing, wake up in a Deathkorps uniform, Gas Mask and a lasgun..For the Emperor!
Where is your shovel?
@@warlordclasstitan2597 The shovel is already attached to the las gun instead of a bayonet
I would call this more of a skirmish not enough “FOR THE EMPEROR!!!” Or happy gasmask noises for a true battle
0:35 sounds like some demons were summoned
No dislikes = no heretics
Except 2! Brother!
3 heretics.
Heretic lives matter!
8
We must hunt down the 8 heretics
*casually adds to painting playlist*
I need some relaxing sounds to help me sleep, this is perfect.
Perfect for painting my Krieg Army. Finished my first commissar yesterday to this. I'll play them as a Marshall because it looks better than having 3 actual Marshalls standing there.
is it weird that this actualy (honestly) calms me down more than Ambient rain noise?
About as 40K as it gets
Congratulations you just triggered a 13th black crusade flashback
i smell Heretics
Bring it heretics. We have more men than you have bullets, and more bayonets than you have men.

Cadia Stands Nerd :)
Man i love how it was mostly DOW sound effects in the beginning. True nostalgia, I'll tell you that much. I was especially surprised to hear the avatar of Khaine's shrieks among that
I find it so weird how this background sound is actually just...really good for if you are writing stuff and want odd noises to keep your ears busy xD
Why is this so calming?!
Studying with this in the background is quite the mood, would recommend
I am going to go to sleep tonight with this on full volume to train myself to be able to sleep through such noises. May be needed in the future.
Nice work!! Makes me nostalgic for my 40k days
finally a good ASMR
The combine
So much better with the closed captions turned on
Once again you never fail
The horrors my army of little Cadians go through are unfathomable for me, a god of my minis, to truly understand.
Am I a weirdo for finding this oddly soothing? Because after 5 Minutes of this I feel really relaxed.
So many say the same... It is the most relaxing sounds I have ever tried.
The only proper kind of asmr to listen to while I sleep
Sounds like Eldar, great. Means I can sleep in.
"Artillery fire day and night. The Cadian 722 lost a platoon this morning. No air support. Man, I lovd it here!"
someone requested titan support and here i am
I feel like if you go to sleep to this you will actually wake up on the battlefield
How did I not find this sooner. Instant subscribe.!!
Ah, Vraks... Good time, good times. By far the most interesting war in 40k (for me, anyways).
Listening to this while creating the most pastelly cute Sims in Sims 4
Alternatively: This is what Kent hears after returning to his hometown in Stardew Valley. "The peacefulness feels like a mask"
I've been listening to stuff like while at work to help with my PTSD thanks for the awesome work, stuff like this is oddly comforting even though it's just fantasy. If I wasn't listening to this my brain would remind me anyway this way I have control and I know it's not real, so thanks for real aye it's been a good tool
thats actually really interesting. keep fighting man
@@wrythe777 I ran away to Ukraine lol
Freaking finally. Nobody does battle ambiences like you mate.
For every WH40k enjoyer: listen to this while also listening to grim-dark litanies. 10/10 won't regret.
Listening to this with the Inspection [SFM] Hour Edition in the background as well!
"Glorious Battle in the Distance" ASMR
Love the smell of war in the morning.
