Never said it was! The grim dark future isn't a nice place. But right now neither is the grim dark present. Especially for many screaming diversity and you show up as not their choice diversity.
I miss a time where it was ok to be me! But I was dealing with that before people realized how much of a thing that was becoming way back last decade.
But that's another grim dark tale.

I highly suggest looking for ambience for specific types of planet. Desert worlds, hive worlds, ice worlds, death worlds- assuming of course you can find sounds for that, I don't know how difficult that might be.
I may try that some day, but it likely won't be for a while.
Just go to Detroit for hive world ambience

Quite possibly my most listened soundscape for the past few days. Simply put, I put this on when I commute to work, put this on when I go for my last break (aka my sleep break; I work 12 hours nightshift) and I put this on whenever I game and go outside.
The combination of quiet with just little amount of loud machinery noises outside of the frequent radar and sensor blips just make it an overall enjoyable listen to me. I have downloaded the MP3 on my PC and my phone. I truly love this track.

This one in particular has been great for my Acolytes' reconvene sessions, much obliged~
While working in a shipyard, this ambience music is the one I need onboard.

A few weeks ago I slept in a ship for the first time. One night the rumble of the engine and the quietness was staggeringly comforting. The other was an absolute clusterfuck of high winds , stomach emptying rocking and the guys in the other cabin fucking shit up!
Wouldnt it be awesome to have a tv-series or game that follow a black fleet ship as they pick up “passengers” on planets.
That could get very dark, very quickly.

I find this quite relaxing between feasts in the great hall wargear matinence and brief moments of half-sleep/meditation combat training and attending briefings by the captain/officer's the long journey between great hunts can be taxing though the occasional trivial containable Daemon breach or Ork/Drukari raiding party does liven things up 🐺

I honestly feel like this could use some chatter, like many of the soundscapes, I really enjoyed the guard one because you hear base announcements and actual soldiers, I would love to hear astropaths relaying messages, or navigators plotting courses or ship crew giving read outs to the captain, and the same for other soundscapes like distant battle, you could have wounded men being treated or artillery crews frantically requesting more munitions. Just personal thoughts, absolutely love your work and I know this stuff isn’t easy but just figured I’d give you some fresh ideas for maybe your next soundscape, maybe an astartes fortress monastery, or one of the Ordos of the imperial inquisitions training camps!

Not bad, but the ship tends to creek a bit more often than not. Maybe we could get another one that quietly does so as it passes through some solar winds and gravity wells? I also kind of miss the drone of being a little closer to the engines.
Still, this is nice.

i've spent TOO MUCH time on this screen in DoW II haha :D when i've tested my maps and they was full of ork and tyranids boiz, it was a pain to spend 25 mins of this screen hahaha :D
