You forgot 2 things.
1 reverse prop option for fast stops.
2 it has its wing spar storage in the fuse. No worry of forgetting it at home.

@IceMan2035 I've been thinking about thinning the hanger, too. I'd like to replace anything...cheap/beginner.. with the upgraded version, if there is one. There just isn't enough time to fly them all. I sure like them, though

That thing looks pretty capable. I love the bigger planes because you can see the orientation a lot easier from farther away. If you do another video of it can you do it with the roll rates all the way up? I'd love to see how much of a difference that makes.
Needs a Thrust Reversing ESC for obvious reasons and an 8 channel Rx. that way you can split the ailerons for crow with the flaps deployed and reverse thrust. STOL you say?

Thanks for the great video mate. I haven’t flown for about 8 years and the last plane I bought was the original blue carbon z cub . Might start back on the simulator and smaller planes before flying the big girl again.

That's a Big Beautiful girl. The Timber series planes are all pretty nice. I have all of them. They all fly very quirky though and the wing loading is always heavy. They always have major flaws, especially the evolution and Timber X. I get it though, they come to RTF and BNF which is easy to get in the air. Not to mention they look sick! When it comes to cubs or STOL highwing planes I do prefer the Multiplex Fun Cub and the Fun Cub XL RR over all the Timbers. They just fly so much better even without a gyro. They also hover better because of the bigger tail surfaces and control surfaces. Sad to say considering I am an E-Flite Fanboy. Even so, I would choose the Multiplex Fub Cub over all of them If I could only keep one. Am I going to buy the Super Timber? Heck yeah! Are you crazy, of course, I am! Maybe it will fly as well as the Multiplex function. Maybe it won't. Doesnt matter cause all RC planes need a hanger to live out their lives. Adopt one when you can. You're saving its life. 😂 I think I need a Snickers Bar.

I wish they would come out with more rtf options.....some of us don't own a decent radio for most of these spektrum reciever planes and jets I would love if they would at least offer it in a rtf with a dx6e or the newer n7 just something 😢

Can I use my 6s 5200 100c in the super timber.
As a beginner with a trainer I wanted to add a transmitter for future growth. My planes are the Carbon Cub S2, the little Cub 2S and the Apprentice STOL S 700. I want to program all 3 into my DX6e. I've figured out most but setting up the SAFE switch has been problematic for me. I wish there was some indication on the transmitter screen that showed what mode I was in. I haven't found a video yet that shows how to set up those 3 modes on the DX6e. Great information as always!!
Were you able to bind the STOL S 700? I thought they used a different radio protocol for that plane and it was stuck to the included transmitter. ⚓️
@@TheRcSaylors I tried but I don't remember if it worked. I went back to the radio that came with it. Funny thing, I was able to find a transmitter for sale that normally came with the little Cub 2S and it bound and worked perfectly. I already own my "future" plane, the Carbon Cub, the bigger one and hope it binds well with the DX6e. I hope to fly it after I learn on the others as well as Real Flight. Based on your recommendations I just bought the Aeroscout, the big one. Hope it also binds easily. Maybe a video someday showing BNF stuff would help us beginners :)
How does the Super Timber compare to the Turbo Timber SWS 2.0 flight wise? Which is your favorite between the two? Thanks!
Ok, I ordered an Apprentice , but I was thinking of my second plane. Arrows Husky , SWS Turbo Timber, or this plane, I live the wing assembly , and assembly for fitting in a vehicle, but does the balsa build and flight trump the Super?

I'm in the market for a radio as we speak and because I fly fpv I'm looking at the jumper t20 v2 or the jumper t14 with cnc hall gimbals for the price you can't beat it I would love a spektrum radio but they're too pricey and I wouldn't be able to fly my quads so radiomaster boxer 4in1 with a elrs module is probably the way I'm going....it's the cheaper way because a elrs module is cheaper than a 4in1 module
Being that the Stance is rather High, How is the ground handling in a breese?
So far, it seems to handle better than the Twin Timber on the ground in wind 💯⚓️

My thought? A boring repeat. Put the new bells and whistles into something else to be honestly refreshing. Last I checked there were hundreds of plane designs out there to claim something as "new". How many versions of timbers are out now? And don't get butthurt like another channel I mentioned this on! It's the subject matter, NOT the channel I'm picking on.
Oh gosh, you are totally fine. I didn’t make the plane! Haha! I’ll say this: I think this is my favorite version of the Timber now. Do they rehash this plane too much!? Oh yes! Some of these other channels get so offended thinking a negative remark in the comments against the plane means they won’t get free foam anymore. They don’t pay me a penny to say a word. My remarks about this plane in the video are genuine. But yeah, I’d also like to see this effort applied to different models as well. Still, they really did a great job on the Super Timber. 👍💯⚓️

Brother, you and I are probably way more alike than you might realize. All I’ve done differently is started uploading videos about RCs 10 years ago, and yeah… sometimes we get free foam. It’s not anything to brag about. I’ll bet you have other aspects in life that are to be desired more than an aspect of my life! There’s no need for remarks like what you’ve said. I noticed quite a few negative responses and quite frankly it's probably the lack of original new products. Myself, I'm getting tired of the same ole thing. Same plane , different color, size and a few more bells and whistles but Still the same plane with a much bigger price. Seems like there's a dozen variations of this plane now.

Nate, would the Super Timber be OK for a first time rc pilot? Looks like a nice, stable flier, but not sure if a novice flier can handle it?
Personally I would say go for a Umx.plane that’s RTF which stands for ready to fly. It’ll say if it’s RTF on horizon’s website and Umx basically means small or micro. But I would say that the timber is a great second airplane.

They made this such a weird plane, like yeah it’s a good timber but if you pay 50$ more you can get the balca wood plane
I didn’t consider that. Very interesting price point! Maybe the extra things like the wing “clips?” Cost more than we realize!

@@TheRcSaylorsI have been flying the Turbo timber Evolution wich is 350ish dollars at a hobby shop, wich is a 150 dollar difrent from the 2.0 one. Like my question is if it’s a child buying the plane then he will buy the cheaper one, and if it’s an adult he will fly the 2.0 one.

I will say it’s going to be more forgiving then balsa I am still new to flying and haven’t pulled the trigger on balsa because every crash I have had I have fixed with a little hot glue
