Comparing this to the final product, I noticed a lot of changes. The UI is different and most of the features are changed. What I noticed especially is the specials. I noticed when invoking nias and toras lvl 3 special, their animation is the lvl 4 special, something that is only exclusive when you play as their character or full burst chain attack.
Overall, I think I will really enjoy this game. The combat looks like it will get much more crazy as you learn all of the mechanics. However, I wish arts were available at the start of battle... I'm gonna miss sneaking up behind an enemy for a surprise backslash (or this game's equivalent).
Xenoblade Chronicles X was one of the hugest, most beautiful, badass RPG I've ever played. And it wasn't even a numbered entry in the series. Monolithsoft is a mazing.
X and the original are pretty different. X is definitely more badass and more visually impressive. The original had better storytelling, and each character felt more unique from one another (gameplay wise). Can't say much about the "quality" of the characters because you spent a lot less time with the X characters, and the side missions and heart-to-hearts don't make them justice. That said, Valak Mountains is my favorite place from the 2 games, specially on sunset.

this is the type of game that doesn't need amazing/realistic graphics to be good. The game knows what it's supposed to be and embraces that, and that's something Xenoblade 1 did extremely well. Doesn't look perfect, but I really want to play this game, I think I will have a great time with it

I don't think it will be less complex than X. It will just be presented better than X and XC, more clear and intitive. Yet, the whole thing with the blades, and arts, and use of the auto-attack getting more importance, the special moves, the team moves and on and on. Pretty sure it will be very deep. Otherwise it would actually be a step down from everything X achieved.
Divise two It's still complex. They have switching between blades with different arts while also having the same break-topple-daze mechanic with combos for other things as well. The battle system doesn't look less complex. It is just much easoer to grasp and is far more streamlined which is a good thing.

when i think of the @ least 400 hours i put into xenogears/xenosaga/xenoblade/xenoblade chronicles x i am grateful that after all these years Tetsuya Takahashi and his team still care enough to bring more to the xeno world even when squaresoft didn't there is very few games now that i am older that i can say i truly had fun playing so yea i just wanted to say THANK YOU Tetsuya Takahashi and your team for all the hard work you have put in over the years

Coming from a big time Xenoblade fan, this looks amazing. The characters look a tiny bit too chibi for me since I played a ton of the original Xenoblade Chronicles. I also like that some of the enemies from the previous games make an appearance, like the armus and the bunnits. All in all, I'm very excited for the release and I will probably get it!!!
PLEASE fix the sound for the next stream. The amount of issues here were ridiculous. Crushed sound effects every time you hit an enemy, very low game volume in general, and sometimes, you just flat-out couldn't hear ANYTHING. I wanna hear the music, but I can't because of the badly mixed audio. :c
They said they will be polishing it as they move on, its in that phase now just before they release, X had a lot of bugs in the first trailer but were fixed in the final ones.

Only have one complaint. Don't like the fact that you have to auto attack for standard arts. I'd rather arts be on a timer like the previous entries while auto attacking charges the blade'a special attack. Otherwise this is my most hyped game of the year. Cannot wait for this masterpiece.

Okay but I lowkey feel like the Blades would be better if they disappeared during battle. Having six characters onscreen running around is a bit hectic. It'd be better for the player and probably for the game's performance if the Blades entered the Aegis as battle begins, and then reappeared for their special abilities.

Hopefully it's just a slow speed stat. The faster you were in the original, the faster your auto-attacks were.

Also I am INCREDIBLY hyped for this game, the original Xenoblade Chronicles is my favorite game of all time. I really hope this lives up to it :')
Feel like it would be really smart if they packaged Xenoblade 1 and 2 together the way they did with Bayonetta. It would encourage those new to the franchise to try it out.
That being said, I understand that would require porting and what not. Just a thought.

initially I was apprehensive about the more colorful, anime style. But watching the gameplay, this game looks absolutely gorgeous!
Coming from a big time Xenoblade fan, this looks amazing. The characters look a tiny bit too chibi for me since I played a ton of the original Xenoblade Chronicles. I also like that some of the enemies from the previous games make an appearance, like the armus and the bunnits. All in all, I'm very excited for the release and I will probably get it!!!

PLEASE fix the sound for the next stream. The amount of issues here were ridiculous. Crushed sound effects every time you hit an enemy, very low game volume in general, and sometimes, you just flat-out couldn't hear ANYTHING.
I wanna hear the music, but I can't because of the badly mixed audio. :c
They said they will be polishing it as they move on, its in that phase now just before they release, X had a lot of bugs in the first trailer but were fixed in the final ones.
Leafstormblaze billyt Don't think it was the game bugging out. It sounds more like there was some issue with the audio capture during the stream.

Still the nopons of XCX have knowledge of the Monado, of Riki and the frontier village, and that is revealed not inly on side missions, the most important is revealed in story missions. So that means something too.

Wow this game looks really good with a lot of depth. Definitely getting this!
Only have one complaint. Don't like the fact that you have to auto attack for standard arts. I'd rather arts be on a timer like the previous entries while auto attacking charges the blade'a special attack.
Otherwise this is my most hyped game of the year. Cannot wait for this masterpiece.

I only ever played Xenoblade Chronicles X but that game started my interest for the series, now I'm trying to get Xenoblade chronicles 1 (3DS ver.). Definitely getting this one too

Okay but I lowkey feel like the Blades would be better if they disappeared during battle. Having six characters onscreen running around is a bit hectic. It'd be better for the player and probably for the game's performance if the Blades entered the Aegis as battle begins, and then reappeared for their special abilities.
