John Blanco that's what bothered me about X and 2. I didn't have a problem with the voice acting itself, but rather the speed at which they spoke. If felt like it was forced to be at a specific pace by these pauses, and it came off as slightly unnatural. That probably had to do with some voice sync and different languages, but still, that was something that bothered me.
BASICALLY, the physical version of the prequel game will be in a cartridge form. A great example similar to this was the Undead Nightmare DLC for Red Dead Redemption. They had a DLC for it on release day, a few months later a physical disc for the DLC came out for it, and a year later a Game of the Year Edition where both game and the DLC were on one disc. I highly doubt the the prequel Torna the golden country and the original Xenoblade Chronicles 2 game can fit on one cartridge, but we can wait and see what happens.
if you're going to be paying the same price for a the physical and the DL you might as well just buy the physical version and if you ever decide to get rid of it, you can at least get some of your money back or double it if it becomes rare and collectible. :)
ill just wait till the price drops before I buy a physical version. I think its going to be a very short prequel game so dropping $30 feels like that MGSV ground zero where it was such a short game for an expensive price.

For example, the theme of the Gargoyle was originally 'Monster surprised You', but in the full version, it was replaced with "Battle in The Skies Above (or as i like to call it, Artifice Battle Theme)", and even the same with Addam/Mythra fight, where the theme was replaced with "Incoming!!" in place of "Driver Battle Theme".
When I heard Xenoblade Chronicles was going to be at E3 I was REALLY hoping it was news on a remaster of XBC1 or XBCX...... This is just as good :D I just hope there's things you can take into the main game, or vice versa.

Only just started playing the main game with 30 hours in, and I'm already looking forward to this. Price tag seemed a bit much at first, which is why I haven't brought the pass, but after seeing what we'll be getting I think the price is justified.
I definitely enjoy the English cast more too! the Japanese isn't bad but I just think the English voices fit some of the characters better! not to mention I love the way nopons (and Popi) speak in the English version. In Japanese they just use a unique sentence ending particle.
I definitely agree with you about Rex and Zeke's lip syncing issues. I've noticed the issues really only start to happen during the more expressive scenes in the original game hence why we notice it more with them as they are arguably the most expressive characters of the main cast.
While I loved XC2, if I'm being perfectly honest, I wish this ability to ACTUALLY PLAY as Blades was something natural. Of course I want to play as Mythra instead of as Rex, of course I'd want to play as, say, Boreas instead of Nia. Bonus points if I can switch between the two, but it makes little sense to me to make these awesome-looking characters that you went out of your way to get multiple artists to create and then lock them as basically just decoration.

I played this game for 13 hours straight. From when I woke, to when I feel asleep. The next day (yesterday), I played it for 12 hours. Pretty much done with the game now. 25 hours in and the game is alrdy almost over :c I need more.. I haven't had enough Xenoblade

Anttie Ann I'd agree, but holding L is already used for camera controls. It could just be that holding R changes the left menu as well as right.

I think jin became a flesh eater after eating dead lora so maybe that why he doesn’t have it?
This is a great expansion it just too bad we couldn’t get these changes for the main game

I played this game for 13 hours straight. From when I woke, to when I feel asleep. The next day (yesterday), I played it for 12 hours. Pretty much done with the game now. 25 hours in and the game is alrdy almost over :c

i'd like to see a remaster but i know it's a lot of work and will take time. but like, imagine the gang rex style (or halfway between dead doll face and rex style at least), imagine the world even prettier and more detailed and more polished. bonus points if they fix sharla's eryth armor so it actually looks GOOD in addition to being tity armor XD
