Cristian, my assistant has prepared this Reaction challenge for me and video recorded me while I am watching for the first time this violin comparison of 10 great sounding violins of the Rin Collection and the Yong Siew Toh Conservatory of Music, while TwoSetViolin are checking them out in 5 rounds; comparing always one less expensive Vs a Great Italian Master made violin.
I did quite well but it has been very challenging.

I watched this with my £700 violin sitting next to me and it was awkward... probably like watching the Miss World competition with an ugly girlfriend. Oh well, at least she's mine. 😀

The hidden advertisements are quite nicely done: the promotion for the academy hidden as a phone call is a nice touch and of course the subtle hint that the sound of the Guarneri reminds Edgar of the violin he is building right now 😀😅😂
It would be great to hear a comparison of violin makers of the Bisiach school & the Vuillaume school. It would also be fun to compare the sound of different Mirecourt makers - Markneukirchen, too.

This was very helpful, you nailed them. More of these please! Good to hear your explanations of why, like "this one fills the room where the other is just over there." Help us train our ear! Wish they would show closeups of the violins so you could explain why it looks like a old master italian violin. Would be interesting to see and hear a comparison of current cremona violins with other Italian city violins? Do they have an italian competition video you can give your take on? I know they do this with classical guitars at the expo. Thanks!

Edgar, it would be fun to play your master instruments against the Italian masters, and some French masters, and some German masters and some English masters.
They should have upgraded to a Russ instrument when they got their new instruments. Just an opinion.
