I am an androgynous boy, and I also choose to look feminine. My problem is that I have a really thick beard and it grows really fast. The good thing is that my skin is pale and my hair is dark, so I believe laser hair removal will do amazingly well on my skin.
I'm tired of shaving. My skin is so, so sensitive and it can stay inflamed and red for days and days... Hopefully this year I will start with laser hair removal, because body and facial hair also causes me disphoria, so... can't wait for it!.

I would think that threading would take as long to complete as electrolysis, as each hair must be dealt with individually. Essentially it is the same as tweeting or plucking, no?

Fragile As Glass Have you tried facial depilatory creams? I have sensitive skin and waxing causes major irritation and ingrown hairs. The depilatory creams work well for me and the hair grows back very slowly
Electrolysis is permanent hair removal. Laser hair removal is permanent hair reduction. Threading doesn't kill the hair follicle and therefore isn't a permanent solution.
I cannot be eating while watching John. His sudden jokes and quips nearly made me choke or spit out my dinner.

Never will I use this information, but I can assure you I will watch this film upwards of 15 times.
I WOULD LOVE TO SEE A FILUM, A DAY IN THE LIFE OF HIS HIGHNESS SIR JOHN MACLEAN.
If anyone cares, I spent thousands of dollars on laser hair reduction and these are my results after 8-10 treatments on each area:
Full legs: 75% reduction in hair
Full Brazilian: 25% reduction in hair
Underarms: Almost no reduction
I am German descent and have thick dark hair, which is ideal for laser hair removal. It was surprising to me that some areas responded differently than others and some not at all. The process was painful and expensive and I expected better results. Also some hairs have slowly returned over the years. I would not pay for it again knowing the end result for myself.
DonaBologna interesting, I have very different results (dark, pretty fine hair, light skin).
Axillaries: 6 sessions 80% hair Reduktion
Lower legs: 4 sessions 90% hair removal
Both have been stable for a year now and I need to get more session when my health permits it. I think you have to find the method that works for you.
See a doctor, check your hormones. Sometimes those fuckers are responsible for that matter.
I think you should try another kind of laser. I've gotten only one session done with diodes and my armpits look INCREDIBLY less hairy, and patchy (as the dermatologist said) and the other areas I had it done, hair grew visibly more sparse, finer and shorter (if any). My only complaint is my armpit got red and painful for like 12 hs. Also I'm a very light tan and of Arab descent so hair is almost pitch black, and have very sensitive skin.

I am a female and I have pcos ... which also means that I am hairsuit.. I have more leg and arm hair than my brother born of the same parents.. I also grow hair on my chin and neck and a few on my cheeks.. I would love to have most of my body hair removed.... thanks John for your imput... I pluck and shave my beard
