I actually feel like I’m learning something when I watch John’s tutorials. He genuinely knows the techniques, the impact of the brushes etc so well and I trust what he’s saying. He also uses consistent products that he knows work effectively rather than a different product in every video which makes me feel like the product isn’t a worthwhile investment. This is a true make up artist.

Such a beautiful look. I really love the more refined, "less is more" looks. I love the vast variety of looks that one can create with makeup and wish that there were more of that variety in the makeup I see people wearing on a day to day basis. Everyday does not have to be the same full coverage face of makeup with dramatic eye looks. There are some very wonderful tips and techniques in John's films. I'm so happy I found his channel.

Michaella if you are referring to Johns accent, that is in fact a Scottish accent.
There isnt a 'british accent' btw it is either english, welsh, scottish, irish or regional. He grew up in scotland but now lives in england like me n he has deffo picked up london traits but we dnt sound like that his voice changed over night watch his vids from 3 years ago i love john tho! 😂

Jade amber your reply isn’t legible, but I think I got the gist of it. He still has a Scottish accent even with London traits. Your accents base sticks at age 8. This means he will always have a Scottish base to his accent. I am very aware there is no such thing as a British accent even within each countries there are regions.
