It would have been funny, but it also was probably a good idea to manage expectations and make it clear that this was a guest appearance and not the permanent return of him.

@@element0ne I know. That is why I was saying they managed expectations here. I was referring to the suggestion that Dave simply appeared and it was not addressed. It would have been funny, but it could have mislead viewers so I see why they did it the way they did here, so as to not mislead anyone.

I was just thinking that I miss Dave sometimes. This was a delight. So glad I found this channel. Okay that was the first ending skit that had me rolling. Well done.
I downloaded nearly the entire gamesack archive on youtube premium and it helped me get through an eight hour flight from London to Chicago (plus three hours sitting on the runway). I came away wishing Dave would make a comeback.

Kevin it’s been a while ago, but Joe mispronounced the word in an episode one time and a horde of weebs had a collective seizure in the comments section of that video. Since then, they’ve refused to let it die and every so often they make a ‘tate’ joke.
Just another reason why Game Sack rules.

Still have my original Genesis, the original model even before they made any internal revisions, so Tanglewood is worth a physical purchase for me. The whole thing was developed on an original Genesis SDK in 68k Assembly, it's as authentic as it gets right down to the coding. For that kind of painstaking work and effort, I have a ton of respect and appreciation for it's developer and I'll gladly pay the £54 to have the real thing.

Puzzle platformers are among my favourite genres, so I will definitely give Tanglewood a try. It looks very intriguing.
Also, yes, Dave, the Dreamcast is very easy to develop for. One of the main reason for the fan support.

Tanglewood is fantastic and well worth checking out. Though Joe was incorrect when he mentioned that the fireflies don't do anything. They unlock the good ending, so you're going to want to collect them all, though it's worth doing a non 100% run first.
