@Brandon Kick TBF, the NES isn't as "far inferior" to the SNES as people often tend to think... They essentially share the same processor and resolution, but Nintendo cheated around these limitations with extra graphical power, a Sony soundchip (an earlier version of the one used on the Neo-Geo and the PS1) and, of course, plenty of advanced mapper chips

Both those games were, by and large, the closest to an actual Turtles arcade game experience you can get on 8-bit Nintendo hardware...

The NES was my first video game console. My parents bought it for me from Toys "R" Us. I remember coming home and plugging the system into the TV and seeing Super Mario Bros. for the first time. Suffice to say, I had never seen a video game like it at the time. I also had Double Dragon and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles the Arcade Game. Unfortunately, years down the road the system somehow disappeared along with the games. I ended up waiting a long time, but I eventually bought an NES myself. I absolutely love Super Mario Bros. 1-3, Castlevania, Metroid, The Legend of Zelda, Final Fantasy, Mike Tyson's Punchout!!, R.C. Pro-Am, Excitebike, Ducktales, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles the Arcade Game, etc. among other titles. Otherwise, thanks once again Joe for the great video. Thanks for bringing back my childhood memories. I really appreciate it. Keep it up!

While I did get to play Super Mario Brothers 3 in 1990 it was only at a friend's house. Like you, I didn't have time for any of that Nintendo 8-bit stuff after the Genesis (I got mine on Christmas of '89).
Super Mario Brothers 3 is the best Mario game from the era. I liked it more than Super Mario World but that of course is due to the many suits Mario can wear. Excellent video as always Game Sack. You truly are in a class of your own.
Addendum- No way can the Neo Geo AES/MVS replicate the kind of graphics and sound in Crystalis. It must have "1,000 Giga Power!"

He's usually very, VERY thorough when summing up the console hardware, but I was a bit surprised for the NES episode that only peripheral mention was made of the Zapper lightgun, and no mention was made of the 3D glasses or R.O.B., which was included with the original NES to help differentiate it as a "toy" from the "video games" that retailers had been so burned by. But any Sack episode is a treat!
