Best band in the world for me! There are bands that I believe are outstanding in other genres of music but no one has anything bad to say about Dream Theater because they are so fucking amazing and so much more creative than any other band on the planet. Dream Theater I salute you!
Paul Venkman Dream Theater is the ultimate form of a band. It’s what all bands aspire to. Five of the best fucking musicians in the world, who know their shit well enough to put odd time signatures into practice, along with some of the best solos ever written/recorded. Simply the best.
Awesome instrumentally. But anyone else than me think LaBrie sometimes just sounds like "WAAAAYAWAJALADAAAAAA WADAJALEAMAMAAAWAAAJAJAAALALA" when he sings? Parts of the verse and shit I couldn't understand shit what he sang.
okay after much consideration it is poor technique and maintenance as the cause for labrie. when they first came out the guy was untouchable. probably because he was fronting this band. so in theory, he is talented. hard work beats talent when talent does not work, or overworks. something like that.
He's had problems singing live for quite a while. This was the first (and only) time I saw DT live, but most live videos I've found, his voice is sub-par to terrible. A real shame.
