That pissed me off. I was baptized when they were born, and back then they said the number is full. The only thing that is full is this religion, and full of BS. They make things up as they go along, nothing but a man made religion! Thanks Lloyd!
The oldest of these 2 is 54. Same age as me. Born in 1970. I was a brought up in the JW religion and baptized in 1987. If at any point in the following years I had professed to being anointed I would have been given a severe talking to and likely disfellowshipped. Yet this guy has done just that.
Proof again as if it were needed they make it up to suit themselves. So glad to be out of this crock of shit since 1991 and lived my life.

I'm going on 65yrs old n yep I was brought up same way.
In the last few yrs haven't they even said that the nos r increasing either due to one's coming in from other religions having a heavenly hope or even bc they were ill n the illness makes them think they r anointed.
What I don't understand with these 2 n the 2 from last yr is, do they claim to be anointed when they r in the writing committee or is it when they r appointed as helpers n then gb members.
All sounds very suspicious to me.
I had a heavenly hope also at 10yrs old when we were catholic b4 my mum became a witness.
It was taken away from all my family when we became jws. We all should have just stayed catholic n then we 2 could have gone to heaven (just not with swords) ready to execute the masses like they r looking forward to doing.
I've gone from loathing and anger at Watchtower to amusement and snickering at the stupidity and ridiculousness of it all. You have helped greatly in this and you didn't disappoint today

Yes it was. 1935 was when the GB declared that the "other sheep" were identified and therefore ( self evidently) from then on, NO MORE.anointed were being called and anyone professing otherwise were to be spoken to for "loving re-adjustment".

Exactly! They also changed the teaching that ALL Anointed ones form “the faithful and discreet slave”. Now only the men of the Governing Body are the “Slave” class.
That irritated me so much, I couldn’t accept that power grab. Soon after I left!!

I remember there was a anonited old brother who wasn't a elder or anything, he used to "correct" the elders talks when they said something he felt was wrong and because he was "anonited" they sort of just had to take it being he was of the faithful and descrete slave class and all. That was put to rest very quickly after the "new light" since now the elders didn't have to take orders from him lol. I would imagine this happened in alot of congragations with "anonited" ones, so they possibly may have had to sort of "demote" them so you don't have a power struggle within the congregation.

Well as I understand it, the generation that sees the end of the present system includes all those living in 1914 and those whose lives overlap with them. They highlighted President Fred Franz who died in 1992, so the system may last as long as the lifetime of people born in 1992, who are only 32 this year. They've bought themselves a lot of time with this new light.

Lloyd can you do a video on what help the JWs can accept when a disaster hits? I looked at their website and can only find information about helping their own people. It doesn’t have any information about accepting anything from outside organizations. I am in North Carolina near where the hurricane Helene hit and demolished many places nearby. I assume the JWs are instructed to wait for fellow JWs and forfeit any help, even if it’s the only help they will get for weeks. Thanks! Much love!

Yep, and that's the thing with claiming the end of the world is coming "very soon". Well, how soon is very soon. You can extend it into in perpetuity. It's like a running on a never-stopping hamster wheel. Those International Bible Students who were alive and old enough to see the events of 1914 that continued to follow the Watch Tower Society after they changed their denominational title to Jehovah's Witnesses in 1931 are all likely dead by now. They were told that they wouldn't die, so how did it work out for them believing that they would be whisked to Heaven at any point before they finally kicked the bucket?

I have three sisters who have all been baptized since the oldest of these two was 4. They’ve been faithful without skipping a beat but still feel they’re part of the ground crew, exemplary submissive women that they are. 🙄 I’d bet that most people that have made a deluded late date of profession of anointing are most if not all men.
I was told in the 1970's they are all chosen and now poof new light, we have overlapping generations so more people can fool themselves they were personally touched by god to serve. That's all we ever wanted is to serve Jehovah not enjoy the positions of power over the flock.

Entry into the anointed class ended in 1935. I know this because the JW leadership said so in 1935 that God had revealed it to them and they publically announced at global conventions that it was God's time to reveal such "truths" and that such important spiritual food was being given to the flock "at the proper time". And it was also stated that after 1935, if any anointed "fell away" they would be replaced of ones of a similar age. Therefore we must conclude based on these God given revelations to the GB in 1935 that these people who were born post 1935 now claim to be anointed must be fakes!!! Its self evident!! What else can they be? AnyJWs out there wish to offer a counter argument? I cant accept that revealed "truth" by holy spirit so monumentously announced to the JW masses back then would now be cast aside as defective false teaching? Tell me it isnt so!!!!!

In this world, if you do evil, you will be hated, and if you do good, you will still be hated. For example, even though Jesus was a good man, he was killed as a criminal. He indicated that his true disciples would be also hated because of the good news they preach (John 15:19).
Therefore, it does not surprise me to see that we, Jehovah's Witnesses, are hated because of the good news we preach, which brings joy and hope.
But since Jehovah is the one who established pure worship on earth as it is in heaven, and not humans, it is better to stick to his organization, even if you will be hated (1 Peter 3:17).
However, everyone must decide for themselves whether they want to serve Jehovah (Joshua 24:15; Galatians 6:5; Matthew 7:13, 14). As for me, I am determined to stick to Jehovah no matter what happens. I am convinced that neither death nor life, nor angels nor governments, nor things now here nor things to come, nor powers, nor height nor depth, nor any other creation will be able to separate me from Jehovah (Romans 8:35-39).

Well, of course Jesus likely would've told his followers that they would be persecuted. I mean, when you're going around proclaiming that you know the will of God to someone else who believes they know the will of God with any amount of certainty, what do you think is likely going to happen? The JWs might spread a message that they believe brings joy and hope, but they are still making promises of an afterlife on a perfected immortalized Earth that they cannot possibly keep or bring about. No one knows what happens after our mortal lives end. As for "pure worship", whatever that is, the Governing Body of Jehovah's Witnesses are the only ones who get to decide what God deems to be "pure worship", and their interpretation is not allowed to be up for debate or question even though they always claim that they are supposedly "just fallible, imperfect men".
Until God shows up and tells me directly by himself what he wants from or expects of me, and I know what his intentions are and what his moral framework is, then I can decide whether I want to worship him or not--but not until any of this occurs first. You can stick to Jehovah alright, but I believe you're mistaken about no creation being able to separate you from God. You make one mistake and don't apologize for it, then your congregation's Elders can remove you from membership not just in your local congregation but from membership in the global JW faith--and if that happens, in the eyes of the Witness Organization you have basically lost your eternal salvation, and that God is no longer going to look out for you.
And that, that certainly can have a serious effect on one's mental health if they still believe in the faith despite being disfellowshipped/removed from membership in the congregation. I may not agree with the JWs, but I hardly hate them. Stick to the organization all you want, babe, I am not going to stop you, but I certainly won't be joining you.
He didn't say anything about "sisters" (I think you added that word?). He did say "both brothers served as helpers".

I dont know who on Earth is anointed but I know you dont 'climb the stairway to Heaven' thru works. Everyone is under the Grace provision now. There is no corporate ladder that im aware of .

Well, I liked Paige Matthews, Rose McGowan's character on the original version of the television series "CHARMED" (1998-2006), though she wasn't as good as Prue Halliwell (Shannen Doherty's character and Paige's deceased older maternal half-sister whom Paige never knew, as well as being the older sister of Piper and Phoebe Halliwell--played by Holly Marie Combs and Alyssa Milano). So, I guess not all replacement characters are a drag.

Accomodate gatherings at my house honestly. Im hardly home or busy doing my own thing. I have had a year meeting current and ex members actually. One wanting to join. I watch what i say of course. I deleted some text before i sent it to one person. Hard to believe i have restraint in the real world no doubt. Looking at 20g if i remodel the bathroom to accomodate all us older ducks so theres no rush. Im sure the cost of living will come back down from corporate greed. I contemplated lately and saw a video afterwards how the boomer generation doesnt question anything stuck in a routine. I think future generations do and have access to unlimited news. The jw can scrape off the inheritance for only so long. I find it a time of anxiety atm. Something brewing.
