    Oh yes all day !
    I love BC and the fishing there. I'm from Sweden 🇸🇪 and I move to USA for years! As I'm back home I do miss it big.
    Keep flys simple effective!
    They need to be alive in the water that's the key.
    Love this video!
    Take care of your family and be safe out there 🙏 Bjorn the swed

    I was deeply offended when the owner Mike Brown at Mossy’s Fly Shop in Anchorage Alaska called this Talented Angler “ man hands” when I mentioned how incredible her guide operation and hard work paid off. It really disgusted me that a fly shop full of men talk about women anglers with so much jealousy and harsh words that are far from true. That’s when I made it my bucket list to hopefully spend a few days with this incredible woman! As a man, I respect the family aspect of her growing up fishing. It’s what inspired me to raise my son to be an angler and now he surpassed me. All the awful things Mike and his co workers at mossy’s said should take a lesson from a real passionate, successful angler and keep the negativity to themselves when a new customer comes in excited that a woman inspired a young man such as myself. I knew it was jealousy however it was heartbreaking knowing that comment really broke my
    Heart. I love this angler, her family dynamic, her success and she’s passionate. Seems these days if corporate business don’t like you they say awful things. This person is a true angler and I only wish I can gain 10% of her skill.

      I my apologies and not trying to be malicious. I just wanna spread awareness of the garbage in Alaska. I don’t know when Flyfishing became a mafia up here.

    Once a person could dream at least of living in a wilderness place. Now one can't even dream. People are everywhere. Guides & Helicopters. I grew up in Northern B.C., yes nice lady, saw a way to make money & good on her but there isn't anywhere that your not neck deep in helicopters and waders anymore. I would like to see a ban on copter fishing. If you can't float, horse or walk you don't fish. It was that way for most of that wilderness existence. Now it is buying or selling river frontage on Home & Garden tv. I would rather than ever fish there a show that is on Documentary that starts. In Northern B.C. is an area yet unknown to man, a place that a tribe of natives are believed to exist that have yet to make contact with the modern world. A place of mist & mystery. It was almost like that growing up .....almost.

    • @Tossdart
      @Tossdart 9 лет назад

      Stevo Reno Good point. It is just I remember what used to be & see what is now. There have always been casualties of war but Northern B.C remained a wilderness. There will always be casualties of war but if we can we need wilderness. The world is shrinking. Where I used to kayak is now 25 ft boats going 70 miles per hour running float tubes across your fishing line.

    • @AIRDOODOO
      @AIRDOODOO 9 лет назад +1

      +Tossdart This is BS...whatever it takes man, I float one man toon, drift boat and Jet sled here in SWL Michigan and even within 2 hrs of Chicago I have spots where I never see another human for days on our rivers. Copter is a tool. Well done Todd Moen, get me fired up for my own Steelhead Dreams.

    • @Tossdart
      @Tossdart 9 лет назад

      AIRDOODOO It isn't just copters it is the for sale. Don't please compare where I grew up in the 60s & 70s & the nearest neighbour was 15 miles to the most heavily populated area on earth. Some of us just lament past times which are behind. Have a look at the Korubo here on tube.

    • @mg-by7uu
      @mg-by7uu 6 лет назад

      What you're asking for is either depopulation through extermination or population control by banning children. Otherwise you just have to deal with all these humans and yes it sucks.

      Know how it goes. We used to hike into the back country in Montana to fly fish for cutthroat and never see anyone. Some writer for a magazine finds the spot, writes an article, now people are all over the place. I am getting to old to hike back further so my wife and I stocked our pond with rainbows and enjoy teaching our grandkids to fly fish. No I am not going to tell you where it is.

    There are so many fishing videos on RUclips which clutch vainly at the profound or are steeped in melodrama, but fail miserably to do anything but wade knee-deep in cliche. This is instead offers a simple (if unique) story simply told - but isn't that what our sport should be all about?
    Wonderful video - I wish I could forget it just to watch it for the first time again.

How nice it would be to visit such a place and be able to fly fish there. I wish you all the success and happiness. How lucky you are... You go girl(s)!!! And to the film maker... EXCELLENT JOB!
