Very welcome David.
Great video Lindsay going through the methods we use while competition fishing from a drifting boat 🐟🎣
Thanks pal, I think I could do it better with more time.
Thanks will give it a try on Saturday. Is that Grafham your fishing?
Hi Brian, Yes Grafham water.
Nice video, on point with information. Thanks Lindsay
Cheers Peter. 👍
Very informative Lindsay great video 👌
Glad it was helpful!
ICF is key no matter if you are out pleasure or during competition. When you are not focused you miss opportunities. Conversely I would add don’t become target fixated. Keep an open eye on the wider picture. Not only for fish activity, any change to that activity as in different riseforms, are the fish taking hatching, emerging, or further down the water column. Be it due change of food source. What is the reason? What changed? Temp, light, wind strength/ direction, air pressure, has anything else changed. Bird activity be they eating insects including terrestrials, or are cormorants hunting closer to your area? Predators will spook fish pretty darn quickly be they birds, mink, otter, seal, or dolphin. Obviously depending on where you are fishing. Lake, stream, river, estuary, or saltwater.
Which is your preferred fluorocarbon and what is your go to breaking strain?
I am using Asso at 8.2lb this season it has been very good.
Although I have been boat fishing for about twelve years now I still learnt a lot from this excellent video.
A few years ago I bought a Wychwood RS2 rod which has been excellent but it is beginning to show signs of wear and tear. I wonder what you replaced yours with.
.
I am using the A Jenson Drifter 2 pal.
Thanks for this instruction, Lindsay. I will try presenting leeches with this technique in Manitoba week after next.
Best of luck 👍

Another great video! Can I ask which Greys net you are using with the green netting on the bottom? Is it the flow net or the reservoir net or something else?
It was the one supplied by the fishery pal.
@@lindsayiflyfish ok thank you very much
